Mzee John Kaburia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee John Kaburia.

Son of the late Zackaria Muthara and late Elizabeth Mukwairu. Step son to Kanyua. Loving husband of Judith Karimi. Father of Michael Miriti and Caroline (Coptic Hospital), Anne Muthoni of ACK Gichure Church and Muruja, Peter Mugambi Kaburia formerly of Oil Libya Ltd and Flomena (formerly KMC), Henry Gitonga formelry of Ngeru Sec School and Rosalid, Andrew Kaburia of G North & Son Ltd and Rose (Premier Academy), James Kaburia of Aga Khan Hospital and Caroline (Serena Hotels) Nancy Kagendo and Kiarie, Eng. Joseph Kaburia of KeNHA- Central and Roline (UON). Guardian to Lilian Kairuthi of Jhpiego Kenya and Major Rtd. Jackson Macharia.

Brother of the late Felicity, Lazarus, Jerusha and Peris. Siep brother of Karimi, Wanja, Kawira, Kathambi and Mugo. Brother in law of the late Miriti, Sylvia, Jackson, Kiruja, the late Beatrice, Murungi & Nyaga. Grandfather of Mugendi, Murangiri, Mwenda, Mwiti, Karani, Kaimuri, Njogu, Mutuma, among others. Great grandfather and uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Nkangani village, Ganga Location, Tharaka Nithi County. Nairobi meetings are taking place at St. Paul’s University chapel and Sanet Gardens opposite St. Gabriel Church along the Northern bypass at 5.30P m.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home Thika Road on Friday 1st November at 6am for funeral service at Nkangani Primary School grounds. Thereafter he will be interred at his home.
