Millicent Anyango  

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Millicent Anyango on 30/07/2018 at Home Ground Nursing Home in Ugunja, Siaya County.

Wife of John Oketch Juma. Daughter of the late John Okuku Opondo and the late Gladys Adhiambo Okuku of Masamra Village, Siaya County. Mother of Dorine Akinyi, Ivy Atieno, Stecy Atieno, Winnie Adhiambo and Franklin Otieno. Sisters of Eunice Achieng, Vincent Otieno and Engineer Erick Okuku of Nairobi City County. Niece of Mark Opondo (Head Teacher St. Kizito Busire Primary School), Aggrey Odeny of Hellens Construction Company, Mzee Peter Achieng (formely of Kenya Railways), Barak Onyango and Richard Orengo, Sisters-in-laws: Elizebeth Juma Okuku, Josephine Otieno, Alice Ogutu, Gladys Omondi. Step-sister of Margaret, Judith, Karen, Pamela, Night among others. Co-wife of Emmaculate Anyango Oketch. Step-mothers Angeline Otieno, Rose Achieng and Ann Adhiambo.

Family and friends are meeting at antonio’s grills along Cardinal Otunga lane and at her Ugunja residents, for funeral preparations.

The cortege leaves Saint Ann Sega Mission Funeral Home on Friday 10th Aug 2018 at 9.00am to Ugunja residence for viewing of the body.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday August 11th 2018, at her home in Kamuli Village, Mukuju Sub-location, Kadot Location, Tororo District, Uganda.

Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have an eternal building from God – 2 Cor 5:1
