Millicent Atieno Owino (Nyako, a Girl)

It is with sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs. Millicent Atieno Owino (Nyako, a girl) which occurred suddenly on 7th July, 2019 at Siaya County Hospital.

Loving wife of Dr Otieno PAO of Mwer Medical Centre, Siaya, formerly of Ruai Medical Centre, Nairobi. Daughter of the late Boaz and Josphine Odera of Ulaf Thim Village, Siaya County. Sister of Michael, James and Eunice Odera. Loving Mother of Irene Achieng Owino of Four Points Hotel, Nairobi, Eng. Bob Owino of KIRVAM International, Parklands and Eddy Odhiambo. Loving grandmother of Baby Kwame Owino Ogechi.

Her body is lying at Bama Hospital, Siaya. There will be a fundraising to help clear hospital Bills and funeral expenses on Tuesday, 16th July, 2019 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.00pm.Those unable to attend may contribute through Mpesa No. 0722756929 (Dan Owore).

The cortege will leave Bama Mortuary on Friday 19th July, 2019 for prayers at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Uradi at 11:00am and thereafter for an overnight stay at her home in Upanda Village, Mwer. South West Alego, Siaya County and burial will take place on Saturday, 20th July 2019 at 1:00pm.
