Miriam Wambui Burton

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Miriam Wambui Burton that occurred on 3rd August, 2019 at Karatina Sub-county Hospital, Nyeri.

Daughter of the late John Karitu and the late PhylisWanjiru. Loving – wife of Mwalimu Burton Wachira (Kianjogu).

Loving mother of Alice Nyaguthii, Edith Wanjiru, Mercy Wangari, Lydiah Wangui and Stephen Gitari.

Mother-in-law of Paul Kinyanjui, Elizah Wamuyu and Solomon Ngatia. Sister of Jerioth Muthoni, Benson Mwangi, James Wanyeki, the late Esther Njeri, Dr Christopher Waithaka (Meja) and the late Charles Muriuki.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their Kianjogu home (Karumba) for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina, on Friday 9th August, 2019 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial thereafter at their home in Kianjogu, Karumba, Nyeri county.
