It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of our beloved Peter Thiga Maina of Privileged Insurance Agencies, which occurred on Sunday 04/08/2019 at the Nairobi Hospital.

Son of the late Eli Maina Mbogo, Tabitha Nyambura, the late Dorcas Wambui and Freshia Wanjiku of Mbugiti village, Gatanga.

Loving husband of Mrs Joyce Wamuyu Maina. Father of Eli Maina, Caroline Thiga and Patrick Githui, Jacqueline Thiga and Martin Kibe.

Grandfather of Ashley Githui, Rita Githui, Liam Kibe and Thiga Kibe.

Son-in-law of the late Washington Baru, Muthoniwa of Mr Kenneth Ng’ang’a and Prof. Zipporah Ng’ang’a, the late John Njoroge and Mrs Mercy Njoroge.

Brother of Joyce Pharis, the late Joyce Wanjiru, Eric Karanja, James Kabugi, Mary Wambui, Samuel Mbogo, Paul Mburu, Esther Mathaiya,Titus Kimani, David Ng’ang’a, Simon Mugo, Daniel Mwaura, Beth Wanjiku, Ruth Njeri, Joshua Chege, George Kamau, Margaret Wangari, Joyce Wanjiru, Phyllis Waithira, Samuel Mbogo, Ruth Wangui and Simon Mugo. A brother-in-law of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Nairobi residence from 6.00pm. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 9th August, 2019 at PCEA Evergreen Church Runda from 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 13th August 2019 at 7.00am for burial at his rural home in King’uri village, Gatanga.
