Daughter of the late Kagwaini Ngunjiri and Charity Nyakihu of Gatiko Farm. Mother of Rowena Charity Wahu and George Muriuki. Mother-in-law of George Ngathu. Sister of Eunice Wangui and the late John Kimondo, Dr. Charles Munene and Cecilia Munene, Ann Waguthi, Susan Wamuyu and Douglas Keeru, Rebecca Njeri and Njuguna Mwaniki, and Grace Wanjiru and Wachira Kanyi. Grandmother of Zuriel Maina,Aunt and Cousin of Many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Norwich Union Towers Nairobi City Centre from 5.30p.m, Tena PCEA Church and Gatiko Farm. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 27th January 2017 at 7.00a.m for funeral service at Kianjogu PCEA Curch followed by burial at Gatiko farm, Mathira West, Nyeri County,
