Moses Lewis Inyange Musonye

1988 – 2025

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Moses Lewis Inyange Musonye of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Nairobi, which occurred on 21st July 2025 as a result of a road traffic accident.

Moses was the beloved son of the late Daniel and Rose Musonye, and grandson of the late Samson Masinza and the late Moses Michael Luseno.

He was a doting father of Timina Rose Inyange and a loving husband of Irene Awour Ager.

Cherished brother of Hawkins Wigunza Musonye, the late Hillary Liyai Musonye, Steven Musonye, Caroline Leona, Gladwel Kaluhi, and Linda Wigana Musonye.

He was a beloved cousin and nephew of the Khayadis, Lusenos, Avugwis, Luttas, and Mukeles, and a dear friend to many.

Daily funeral arrangement meetings and prayers are being held at his home in South B, Sana Sana, at the Kenya Re Apartments. A fundraising drive will be held on Tuesday, 29th July 2025, at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, starting at 5:00 p.m.

A requiem mass in celebration of his life will follow on Thursday, 31st July 2025, at Friends International Centre, Ngong Road, at 10:00 a.m.

The cortege will depart from Umash Funeral Home on Friday, 1st August, for Muranda Village, Shinyalu, Kakamega County, where the final funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday, 2nd August 2025.
