It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr Moses Osoro Ogola that occurred on 1st August 2020 at Mater Hospital, Nairobi.

He was the loving husband to Pauline Osoro. Son of the late Mzee Nafatali Ogola and Mama Rebecca Ogola Suna Migori. Step son to the Late Margaret Owaga and Agnes Adongo. Son-in-law to the Late Mzee Marcus Ogonda and Mama Julia Ogonda of Smur Kobiero, Ukwala. Father to the late Roy, Willis, Beryl and Wendy. Grandfather to Liam and Halley. Brother to Prof. Elijah Ogola, Late Tom, the Late Helen, Caleb, Bob, Jane, Florence, Gordon, Grace, Benta, the late Barrack, the Late Lukas, Teresia, Addah, Orpah, Sammy, Mark, Dorine, the late Monica, Adasa, Maren and Atieno. Father-in-law to Harriet, Florence, David, Gordon, Fred, Sylvia, Joan, Milicent, Hannington, Carol, Collins, Beryl, la, Janet, Tom, Rafael, Janet, Selline, Peter, Charles, Wycliffe Yamo, Loice, Anita, Jane and others. Father-in-law 2aleb Okola. Uncle to Sarah, Muthoni, Peter, Akinyi, Akoth, Aura, Peter, Tom, Marvin, Zena, Dylan, Crystal, Kyle, Ruby, Rein, Laban, Rebecca, Nana, Wesley, Chelsea, Faith, Patricia, Stan, Stef, Fay, Ruth, Geff, Leone, Shirty, Louis, Sharlton, Faith, Nicole, Ken, Philip, Elim, Ken and Adundo.

At the time of his death, he was newly retired as Director of Sectoral Planning at the Ministry of Devolution.

The cortege leaves Mater Hospital for a funeral service and burial on Wednesday 5th August 2020 at his home in God Ngoche Village, Suna, Migori County.

You are deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Rest well until we meet again.

    Death is not kind at all, but let us respect God’s will. Moses was a gentleman and a man of very few words. We used to interact a lot as friends at a local joint in Nrb West. May the Lord comfort his family during this difficult times and may his soul rest in peace.
