Mr. Joseph Raphael Ngare

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Joseph Raphael Ngare on 2 I st February, 2026 at Mombasa Hospital. He was the Chairman of Department of Communication Studies in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Technical University of Mombasa.

Beloved husband of Vidah Ngare and father of Raphael Agolla Ngare.

Son of the late Raphael Agolla and Kalara Awuor. Brother of Mary, Kaunda, the late Monica and the late John Ochieng.

Son in- law of Zakayo Nyadimo and Jane Nyadimo of Kendu Bay. Brother in-law of Rose, Loyce, Lucy, Betty, Millicent Dima, Omaro, Kenneth.

Uncle of Jerusa, John, Beatrice, Evans, Belinda, Quinter, Derrick and Felix.

Requiem mass was held on 17th March, 2026 at 10.00 a.m at Makupa Catholic Church Mombasa.

The body will thereafter leave for Rare village, Kamagambo, Rongo. Burial will take place on 19th March 2026.

Family and friends are meeting every evening at his residence in Tononoka.
