MR PATRICK MBUGU NGUNYI

 1956 – 2025

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Patrick Mbugu Ngunyi of Kahawa West, Nairobi.

He was the son of the late James Ngunyi Mbugu and Esther Wanjeri of Kiangondu, Mukurweini Nyeri County.

Beloved husband of Esther Njoki Mbugu. Devoted father of Lucy Wambui & the late Joseph Njuguna.Martha Wanjiku & Moses Muriithi, Rita Waruguru, and James Ngunyi. Cherished grandfather of Kenneth Kiarie, Patrick Mbugu, Jeff Muriithi, and Ivy Nyambura, and Great-grandfather of Luxxen.

Loving brother of Agnes Waruguru, Daniel Wachira, Elizabeth Wangechi, Jane Waititu, Leah Wambui, Mary Wangui, Rose Wairimu, and Peter Murimi.

Son-in-law of the late James Mwituria and the late Loise Wambui. Brother-in-law of Michael Lisa, Justin Mutembei, John Githemo, Francisca Murimi John Mwaganu, late David Mburu, late Morrison Ndungu, late Ambrose Kiiri, late Mary Wanjiru, Jane Wairimu, and late Pauline Wanliku, Patrick was a treasured uncle, grandfather, and friend of many.

Funeral Arrangements: Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Ka.hawaWest for funeral preparations.

A requiem mass will be held at Saint Joseph Mukasa Catholic church, Kahawa West on Tuesday 12th at 7.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral : Hospital Mortuary (Northern Bypass) on Thursday, 14th August 2025 at 7:00 a.m. Funeral service will be at St. Joseph Mukasa Catholic Church, Kahawa West starting at 9:00 a.m., followed by the body interment at the family farm in JuJa Farm in Kiambu County.
