Mrs. Anne Wangari Muturi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs. Anne Wangari Muturi, on 14th November 2025, after a brave battle with cancer.

Beloved wife of the late Charles Muturi Mwariri. Loving mother of Pauline & Derek, Moses & Joyce, Alex, the late Kenneth, the late Mainika Muturi, and Simon & Modesta; grandmother of Wambui, Julia, Elias, and Isabella.

Daughter of the late Elias Gathii Karuri, the late Magdalen Njeri Gathii, and the late Agnes Wanjiru Gathii.

Daughter-in-law of the late Mwariri Njoroge and the late Wakanyi Mwariri.

Sister of the late Sister Eliana, Cecilia & Ephraim Kariithi, Jacinta & Kimandi, James, Bernard, Rosemary, Sophia, and the late Jane, Lydia, and Michael.

Sister-in-law of the late Mainika, the late Ngure, Muthoni, and the late Gathoni.

Holy Mass will be held on Wednesday 19th November at 5.00pm at the family home.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, 20th November 2025 at 1:00pm, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Karen.
