We announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Fanice Awinja Maleche, formerly of Firestone East Africa, on Monday 8th December 2025 at Cherangany Nursing Home in Kitale.

Wife of the late Professor Reverend Matthew Kaluna Maleche former Deputy Vice Chancellor of Moi University Eldoret.

Daughter of the late Reuben and Lonah Angote Mutsili, of Esiandukusi Village, Emuhaya,Vihiga County. Sister of the late Margaret Asiko, the late Beverly Lidonde, the late Jason Angote, the late Paul Mabwa, the late Rehoboam Mutsili,Ainea Angote, Pricillah Makutwa, the late Ernest Angote and late Teresa Angote.

Daughter-in-law of the late Jonam Shibonje Maleche and the late Selina Khamaya Maleche.

Mother of Tony, Keith, Michael and Robert. Guardian of Silas, Lornah, Reuben and many others.

Sister-in-law of the late Paulina Burudi, the late Richard Maleche, the late Zachariah Maleche, Nathan Maleche Eliakim Maleche, Reuben Maleche, Rose Amateshe and Nicholas Maleche.

Mother-in-law of Hellen Maleche, Anne Maleche and Gift Maleche.

Sister-in-law of the late Zakayo Burudi, the late Elizabeth Maleche, the late Rosa Maleche, Margaret Maleche, Mary Maleche, Martina Maleche, Dr. Kisa Amateshe, Anastasia Ashilenje, Dr. Walter N. Family, friends and colleagues have been meeting at the family farm and on social media platforms.

The body will be removed from Cherangany Nursing Home at 9.30 am on Wednesday 17th December 2.025 followed by a funeral service at Miti Mbili Church of God, Ndalu Trans Nzoia County at 11.00am and there after viewing and prayers at the family’s Mbao Farm residence Ndalu, Trans Nzoia County. Burial will he on Thursday 18th December 2025 the family’s Mbao Farm, Kirninini,Trans Nzoia County from 9.30 a.m.
