Mrs Jane Kahithe Ndung’u

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs Jane Kahithe Ndung’u (formerly Deputy Director of Agriculture, Kilimo House & Cordinator ASDSP) of Happy Valley—Thika, who rested on Saturday 13 December 2025. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, friend, colleague, and a woman of faith who’ll be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Daughter of the late Josphat Edward Wairugu and the late Katherine Hannah Wanjiru.

Devoted wife of the late George Mbiriri. Loving mom of Ruth Wangeci, Eng Samuel Wambugu and Edward Wairugu. Doting grandmother of Georgia Rose Kahithe Wambugu. Mother-in-law of Georgina Wanjiru.

Sister of Winnie Kiragu, David Gachanja, Mary Gichamba, Julius Kiunjuri and Ruth Nyambura. Sister-in-law to many, aunt, cousin, cucu, maitu and friend to many more.

Family and Friends are meeting daily from 6:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements at her HappyValley-Thika home and Kiamutiga family home in Tetu Nyeri.

There shall also be a meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday 18 December 2025 at 5.00pm.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday 17 December 2025 at 2.00PM at CCI Wellsprings Church in Thika.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati, Thika Road on Friday the 19 December 2025 for the funeral service and burial at Kiamutiga in Tetu, Nyeri.
