It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mwalimu Bernard Nkonge M’ MwambaA Director of Kionyo Tea Factory, Formerly Chairman KNUT Meru Branch, Formerly Headteacher Ithimbari Primary School and a Retired PCEA Church elder.

Son of the late M’Mwamba M’rinjuri and the late Joyce M’mwamba. Step-son of the late Janet M’Mwamba. Husband of the late Gladys Nkonge and Pamela Nkirote. Father of Martin Mwenda (Amref), George Kinoti (Australia), Robert Kinyua (Arichem), Edwin Muchai (Australia) and Nicholas Nyaga (Nairobi). Father-in-Law of Joyce Mwenda, Joy Kinoti, Lucy Kinyua, Purity Muchai and Silvia Nyaga. Grandfather of Kay, Nelly, Tracy, Shawn, Wayne, Casey, Marshall, Samantha and Ryan. Brother of John Mugambi (Australia), the late Prudence Kahare, the late Erastus Kinyua, the late Kamundi M’mwamba, Bridget Mutea, Jediel Mwiti and Lucy Igoki. Uncle of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Waathine village Upper Chure and at St. Andrews PCEA Church Nairobi at 5.30pm from Tuesday 16th to Friday 19th October 2018 for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home 20th October 2018 at 7.30am for a funeral service at 10.00am at Ithimbari PCEA Church Meru and thereafter burial at his family farm.
