Mwalimu Peter Mwangi Wahome

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mwalimu (RTD) Peter Mwangi Wahome, formerly of Kiambu and Kiu River Primary Schools, which occurred on 21st October, 2019 after a short illness.

Son of the late Makarios Wahome Maina and the late Hellen Njoki wa Makario. Son-in-law of the late Mani wa Gichere and the late Frachiah Wanjira. Beloved husband of Keziah Wangari Mwangi. Doting father of Michael Wahome, Johnson Mani, Paul Maina and Kevin Mutitu. Brother of Esther Wanjiku, the late Paul Maina, Joseph Wathanga, Julius Njoya, the late John Mburu, the late Lucy Wachera, Agnes Wangari and Margaret Wambui. Grandfather of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily from 6:30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements at Blue Springs Hotel, Thika Road, at Magomano Hotel, Tom Mboya Street, Nairobi and at his Kahawa West (Soweto) home.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 29th October, 2019 at 8.00am for a funeral service and interment at Mbari-ya-Nyaga in Kamacharia Location, Mathioya, Murang’a County.
