Mwalimu Simon Kipchumba Metto

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu Simon Kipchumba Metto (Teacher at AIC Torochmoi High School) through a tragic road accident on July 27th 2017 (Eldoret-Iten road).

Son of Mr. Daniel Metto Mrs. Priscilla Metto of Natwana farm, Moi’s Bridge. Husband to Mrs. Juliet Sein Metto (AIC Teldet Primary School-Eldoret). Father to Belinda Jepkemboi, Frank Kiplagat and Rodney Kipkemboi. Son-in-law to Thomas and Mary Meiseiyeki of Kilgoris. Brother to Noah & Everlyne Metto (Cherangani), Jonathan & Jael Lagat (Mogoiywet), Antipa &Viola Metto (Kuinet),Wilson (Kitale) & Roselyne Metto (Mois Bridge), the late Jane Metto, Benjamin & Lucy Metto (Mexico), Rev. Hosea & Salome Mitei (UoN), Shadrack (Moi University) & Gladys Metto (KCB MTRH) and Silas (Simbanet) & Lydia Rugut (NBI). Brother-in-law to Ken,Anne,Victoria, Gladys, Fred among others. Uncle to Garret (Bungoma District Hospital), Mercy (USA),Abigael (Rongo University), Hillay, Faith, Deborah, Lewis, Seth among others and cousin to many.

The cortege leaves MTRH Funeral Home, Eldoret on Thursday 3rd August, 2017 at 10.00am. Prayer and burial will take place at his home Natwana Farm, Mois Bridge (Eldoret Kitale road), Uasin  Gishu County.
