Mwari wa Ithe Witu Milka Gathoni Ndiritu (Wakagotho)

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mwari wa Ithe Witu Milka Gathoni Ndiritu (Wakagotho), who hailed from KianjiruVillage, Wamagana Sub-location, Tetu, Nyeri County.

Daughter of the late Ayub Kagotho and the late Loise Nieri. Beloved wife of the late Danson Ndiritu Gathirwa.

Loving mother of the late Dr. Cyrus Gathirwa Ndiritu, Loise Njeri, Marion Njoki, Beatrice Kagure. David Kagotho, Margaret Wanjiku, Rahab Wakarima, and Eunice Wambui.

Mother-in-law of Irene Wanjiru, Amos Ndung’u, Muchai Mbugua, Jane Mukabi, Ndiritu Gakuo, and the late Martin Muriithi.

Sister of the late Martha Mumbi, the late Esther Wambui, the late Hezekiel Mbugua, and the late Daniel Gathiru.

She was a grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kianjiru from 4:00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Mathari Hospital Mortuary, Nyeri, on Saturday, 19th July 2025 .at 8:00 am for a funeral service at PCEA Gathuthistarting at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest thereafter at her home in Kianjiru,Wamagana.
