Mzee Edward Kairu Kinya
Appreciation
We, the children of the late Mzee Edward Kairu Kinya together with our extended families would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for the overwhelming support in various forms that we received following the passing on of our father on 6th August, 2019.
We would in particular like to thank his doctors and the staff and clergy at Eileen Moffat Home in Karen, Nairobi, where our father spent his last three weeks, his carers at his home in Gikui village, lyego, Muranga, the Judiciary led by the Honorable Chief Justice David Maraga, our Kangema Member of Parliament Hon Muturi Kigano, the Board of KCB Group, our local communities, all our friends and professional colleagues and all well-wishers as well as the Bishops and clergy that led the memorial and funeral services in ACK St Francis Church, Karen, Nairobi and ACK All Saints Kiawairegi Church in Gikui village, lyego, Muranga.
As it is not possible to name all those who stood with us during this difficult period, please accept this as an acknowledgement of our appreciation. We are truly thankful.
I have very fond memories of Mr Edward Kairu. He loved us and was always there for our family. His passion for education was unmatched. I trust you are celebrating in heaven with Your wonderful wife and my mom and dad Onesimus and Penina Mutahi, who were great friends of yours. Rest well.
