Mzee Elly Mundu Olang’

It is with deep shock, sorrow but humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mzee Elly Mundu Olang’ that occurred on the dawn of 7th October 2020 at his home.

Beloved son of the late Manasseh Olang’ and the late Mama Priscilla Obudho. Loving husband of Mama Jane Mundu, Brother of Albert Miduri. Dedicated father of Moses Mundu (Vi Agro forestry), Lillian Mundu (Riley Falcon security), Alice Mundu (Bridge Schools), Millicent Mundu (Miriu Integrated), Wyckliffe Mundu (Ministry of Interior and coordination of Government) Joseph Mundu (National Police Service), Samwel Mundu (Nation Media Group), Kennedy Mundu (Ministry of Education), Caroline Mundu and Felix Mundu (Sigalagala National Polytechnic). Son-in-law of the late Johanna Nyabola and Mama Julia Nyabola of Nyakach kajimbo. Brother-in law of Ezekiel Nyabola. Loving grandfather of Kevin, Millicent, Brian, Isaac, Grace, Trevor, Tamara, Ramsey. Brayden, Adrian, Dylan and Alvin. Father-in-law of Christine, Vivian, Anne, Lillian and Eliakim.

The Cortege leaves Jaramogi Teaching and Referral Hospital on Thursday 15th October 2020 for an Overnight Vigil at his home. The burial service will be conducted the following day 16th October 2020, overseen by The Anglican Church of Kenya, Chiga Parish and later the body interred at his home in Chiga, Kadiju Village, Kisumu East sub-county, Kisumu County.
