It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and sad demise of Nelson Gitahi Magachi which occurred on the morning of Wednesday, 07th October 2020 at Nazareth Hospital.

Beloved husband to Mary Wanjiru Gitahi (Jericho Market). Son of the late Peter Magachi and Teresia Wakairu. Loving father to Jacinta Wakarindi Gitahi (Ocean Catch), Teresia Wakairu Gitahi (Riana Group Ltd), Samuel Njogu Gitahi (Kirinyaga University), Peter Magachi Gitahi (University of Nairobi), Boniface Magachi Gitahi (Matasia Ngong), Peter Magachi (Peter Kibukosya Secondary) and Teresia Wakairu. Dear and eldest Brother to the late Rose Nyambura, Virginia Wairimu Maina (Kahawa West), the late Domenica Wangechi, Jacinta Wachera Wanyika (Satellite), Esther Wakiirungi Maina (Matasia Ngong), Mary Wangui Magachi (Principal AIPCA Dandora Creative Centre). Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family and Friends are meeting at his family home at Ofafa Jericho Block V16, near Jericho Market at 5.30pm daily.

The Cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Friday 16th October 2020 at 7:00 A.M and the funeral service shall be held at St. Lucia, Mukui Catholic Church starting at 11:00 A.M and thereafter the interment to follow at the family home at Kaharo, Gikondi Mukurwe-ini Nyeri County.
