It is with deep sadness that we announce the demise of Mzee Henry Ndubi Nyakeraka Nyagwoti of Nyabite village, Nyamira County that occurred on Tuesday 8th July 2025 at Nairobi after a short illness

He was the son of the late Peter Nyagwoti and the late Martina Kerubo Ndubi.

Beloved husband of Mama Peris Kenanda. Father of Esther, Johnson, Hezron, the late Norah, Josiah, Sospeter, forum, Lazarus. late Florence, Jane, Shadrack, Carol; and Euniah. He was a grandfather of 35 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He was a brother of Moraa, Nyarnoita, Bota, the late Francis, Chrisantus, Nyangate, and Samuel.

Father In-law of Grace, Faith, Mary, Nancy, Judy Oyondi, Janet, Cleophas, the late James, Kennedy, Jared and Ammon.

Brother in-law of the late Mamba, the Nyabwari, the late Ondieki, the late Nyandiri, the late Kemuma Kebabe, the late Rebecca Masese, the late Moragori, the late Grace and Momanyi Marabu (USA).

Semo of the late Manani, the late Njoge, the late Sagini and Gesemba.

Korera of the late Simwamu, Maori Yesse, Makau, Atemba, Nyambaka, the late Openda, the late Ongeri, Onchana, Makori and Nyamongo.

He was nephew of Ndubi (Maswari), Chuma, Kitanya, Mochibi, Moraa, Ndege, Nyaboke.

He was cousin of the Chuma’s, Mochibi’s, Tai’s, Motanyi’s,Maswari’s, and Many others.

The burial arrangements are on going at his hone in Nyabite village, Nyaritira and in Nairobi.

There will be a main fundraising today on 15th July, 2025 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi starting at 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 17th July 2025 at 9.00am for a night vigil at his home in Nyamira thereafter he will be laid to rest on Friday 18th July 2025 at his village in Nyabite, Nyamira County.
