Mzee Henry Otieno Omamo

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Mzee Henry Otieno Omamo, which occurred on 21st March 2024.

He was son of the late Andrea Omamo and Zipporah Omamo. Brother of the late Seth Nyaware and Phelgona Ochola, the late Mathlida Awuor, the late Dr. William Odongo Omamo, the late Apollo Onywero Omamo, the late Agneta K’odingo, Tobias Omamo, Peter Okeyo, Boocker Opata, Emily Nyaoke amongst others.

Son In-law of the late Nathan Odour and the late Hellen Odour.

He was a loving husband of Dorcas Anyango Omamo. Father of Dr.Anne Omamo, Salome Awuor, Felix Onyango, Nancy Amondi, Sylvia Awino, Merryl Apiyo, Steve Oduor, Joyce Ng’uono and Zedekia Abach.

Father in-law of Michael Odawa, Hellen Muma, Michael Omollo, Kevin Ochieng,Asman Bakari, Jennifer Nambwere and Rodah Omboi.

Grandfather of Wendy, Faith, Michaella, Destiny, Hassan, Amani, Jensen, Angelo, Divine, Jayden, Rehema, Kwe, Pessie, Nanda, Kyton, Joshua, Dorcas and Joy.

There will be a fundraiser at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 2nd April, 2024 from 5.00pm. Funeral contributions can be sent via Paybill No, 8055659,  A/C Your name.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Kisumu in the morning of Thursday 4th April 2024 for service at St. Mary’s Church Kapiyo in Bondo at 12.00 noon. He will be laid to rest at his home in Kapiyo, Bondo on Friday 5th of April, 2024.
