It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Jacob Cherutich Cheptoo Toloin.

Son of late Cheptoo Arap Chepyator and Kobilo of Kapsang (Tarkogot). Husband of Salome Kobilo of Kapsanaya (Kasisit). Father of John Toloin, Esther Jeptoo, Zipporah Limo, Philemon Toloin, James Toloin, Grace Toloin, Isaac Toloin, Elizabeth Toloin, late Patrick Toloin, Amos Toloin, Japheth Cheptoo, Symon Tolon and late Florence Toloin. Brother of Talaa of Tungo (Bartolimo), late Jacob Cherutich Cheptoo, late Kangogo Cheptoo, Talaa of Kapcheletwo (Kaptumo Lawan),Talaa of Kaabarkebo (Serutunin), Talaa of Kaptoigong (Ravin) and Talaa of Kapsokomo (Emining).

 He was blessed with79 grandchildren, 105 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He will be laid to rest at his home Talai, Baringo County on Tuesday 6/12/2016
