It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mzee John Joseph Watkins (Chuma Cha Reli) which occurred on 9th May 2021 at Beyond Scope Hospital Mombasa.
Loving husband of Leah Wandere Watkins. Son of the late Frank Watkins and the late Maria Nakiwala. Father of the late John Watkins, Elizabeth Kotengo, late Maria Nakiwala, Elisheba Mugeni, Isaac Watkins, Treza Watkins, Francis Watkins, Peter Watkins, Maria Mutuanene, Winfred Mengo, Agustine Watkins, Denis Watkins, Grace Watkins, Joseph John, Maria John, Anthony John.
Brother of the late Francis Watkins, brother in-law of the late Margaret Njeri Watkins and Eunice Njeri Watkins. Father in law to Terry Mwihaki, Michael Kotengo, Vincent Mugeni, Mwanahamisa idi, Edgar Kimani, Catherine, Ben Mutuanene, Jackim Mengo, Eva Lidigu, Teresia Denis. Grandfather and great grandfather to many.
The cortege leaves Jocham Hospital Funeral Home on Friday 21st May 2021 for a night vigiI at his home in Katangini Village — Kichaka Simba Sub Location, burial is scheduled for Saturday 22nd May 2021.
You have fought a good fight and you have won the race.
