Norbert Kinyua Kangichu
9th August 1949 – 15th May 2021
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of Norbert Kinyua Kangichu.
He was the son of the late Hudson Mvungu and the late Jackbed Ngima. Loving husband to Juliet Rwamba Kangichu, father to Linda Karimi, Angela Wambura & Emmanuel Birech, Emily Wanja & Bob Mwaura, James Muriithi & Lucy Kendi, Peter Njeru and Faith Mukami; grandfather to Michael, Natalie, Olivia, Andrew, Adrian, Naomi, Gabriel and Noah. Additionally, he had many brothers and sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Ngong, Kajiado County and in Rukuriri, Runyenjes Constituency.
There will be a memorial church service at CITAM Ngong on Thursday 20th May from 10AM. He will thereafter be laid to rest on Saturday 22nd May 2021 at his Rukuriri home.

I met Mr Kangichu through my good friend his daughter Wanja. We were quite young back then. He was a true gentleman, quiet and kind. What I enjoyed the most were our conversations. They were not many, but we were always able to strike up a conversation. He was like a father to me
I am deeply saddened that he has passed away but encouraged that it is not goodbye but see you later.
To Mom, Wanja, Angie, Linda, Jimmy, Peter and Faith, I am praying for all you. May God comfort you and help you during this time.
