It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved patriarch Mzee Jonathan Kipkoech Chemenei which occurred on 14/05/2021.

Son of the late Simion, Esther and Elizabeth Tapterik. Husband to Rachel Chemenei. Father of Joyce Tonui, Nancy Ngeno, Jane Amboka, Evaline Koech, Raymond Koech, the late Emily Cherono, Abigael Langat, Brenda Rotich and Phyllis Chepwogen.

Brother to the late Catherine, Mary, the late James, the late Sarah, Recho, Rebecca, Anna, Eunice, Elijah, Esther, John, the Late Grace, Lily, Linah, Erick, Evaline and Maryline. Father in law to Peter Tonui, the late Samuel Ngeno, Bryson Amboka, Gladys Koech, Leonard Langat and Mark Rotich. Grandfather and great grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves Litein Mission Hospital mortuary on Friday 21/05/2021 at 10.00Am for the memorial service at Kamanamsim A.I.C. church at 12:00pm thereafter for an overnight stay at his home.

The funeral service shall be held on 22/05/2021 at his home Kamanamsim Village, Bureti, Kericho County at 10:00Am
