Beloved husband of Mama Keremencia Bonareri. Son of the late Mogire Nyire and the late Rose Mogusu. Brother of the late Ogato, the late Simako, the late Nyanchera, Biyaki, Sabina, Nyakerario, Nchoga, Boera and many others. Father of David Mogire, Christine (Narok), the late Veronica, Kennedy, Joyce, Lawrence (Uradi School), Dr. Vincent (Strathmore University) Jacqueline, Annastancia and Pius. Father-in-law of the late Mary, Leonidah, Josephine (Mumias), Anne (Nairobi) and Edna. Grandfather of 28 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who includes; Emily, Vincent, Evans, Nyabisi, Mosoti, Nyakundi, Samson, Geoffrey, Alex, Eric (USA), among others.

Uncle of Ogaro, Charles, Moige (Kehancha), Andrew (USA), Evans (Nairobi), Nicodemus, the late John, Nchoga, Keana, Onderi, Nyamari, Ong’era, Onchomba, Alphanus, Nyakwara among many others. The cortege leaves Christamarianne Mission Mortuary, Kisii on 21st November 2019 for burial at his home in Machururiati, Bokeka Village, Kenyerere sub-location, Masaba North, Nyamira County on 22nd November 2019.
