It is with profound sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Shem Olaka Shikungu of Ihululo, Ikomero, Kakamega County.

Husband of Mama Dorcas Anyanga and the late Mama Refa Bakhoya. Brother of Apeles Khayo. Father of Wycliffe Buyeka (Wyng Enterprises), Henry Matalanga (Rhemat Auctioneers), Habil Olaka (CEO-KBA), Haggai Minabo (La Rustique-Nanyuki), Fred Okello (Nairobi Hospital), Osborne Shikumo and Rebecca Omala. Father-in-law of Jane Buyeka, Pauline Matalanga, Catherine Olaka, and Loise Okello. He is survived by 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

There will be a Prayer Service at The All Saints Cathedral, NAIROBI on Thursday 13/9/18 from 5:00pm.

Burial will be at his home, lhululo village, Ikomero, Kakamega County on Saturday, 22nd September 2018.
