It is with the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Zachariah Manyara Ontieri on the 1st February, 2019.

Son of the late Ontieri Nyabika and the late Maritha Kerubo. Husband of Bilha Bosibori. Father of Peninnah Rodha Onchoke, the late Moraa, Susannah, Jeliah, Margaret, Nyanchama, Merciline Maati (Bosose Pri.), Alfred Otwori (Nairobi) and Eng. Peter Manyara (Nairobi). Brother of Bigingi, Maoga, Anyoka, Mogwarnbo, Moraa, Nyanchoka, Nyakerario, Nyamoita and the late Machoka, the late Nyangweso, the late Maina, the late Ongaga, the late Paulina. Father-in-law of Rose Otwori (D/Principal Ikonge Girls), Grace Ontieri (KCAA, Nairobi), Russell Musili, Ezekiel Musili, Matunda, Anderea, Maati and the late Mochama, the late Onchoke, the late Nyaburi, the late Onchong’a.

Uncle of Charles Nyamongo, Hellen Omasire, Ayore Ombachi, Mogeni Ombachi, Josiah Maoga, Wilson, Mogwasi, among others. Korera of the late Ibrahim Mecha, Cosmas Charana (Timboroa), Joseph Musili, Nyang’ute among others. There will be a major Fundraiser to offset medical bills and funeral expenses on Monday 11/02/2019 at Professional Centre Room CC2, Parliament Road Nairobi and 12/02/2019 at his Gesore/Kebirigo home.

The cortege leaves Christamarianne Hospital-Kisii on 14/02/2019 and he will be laid to rest on Friday 15/02/2019 at his Gesore home, Bonyamatuta, Nyamira County.
