It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Naftali Zachary Moogi Chweya who departed on 13/08/2025After a long illness.

He was son of the late Jonathan Chweya Ngubo and the late Rebecca Mongina.

He was husband of Drusillah Kemunto Naftali. He was father of the late Duke Chweya, Benard, Risper, Geoffrey, Stella, Clifford, Metabei, Mogan and Jack

He was brother of Charles, Olpha, the late Florence, Bernice and late Meshack.

He was uncle of Dancun, Wilfred, Douglas, Jackson, Marion,
Rebbecca, Waithera, Kariuki, Ronald, Tirimba, Moraa, Brenda, Mongina, Enock, Risper, Caleb, Mokeira, Onkeo, Hesbon, Dolphin, Dancun, Sarange, Newton, Joel and others.

He was cousin of Masongos, Mainyas, Bagwasis, Nyarenchis, Nyakonis, Nyabengis, Nyaangis, Orioos, Makoris, Mosotis, Gwaros among others.

The cortege leaves Ram Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 28/08/2025. He will be laid to rest on Friday 29/08/2025 at his home in Nyasore Village, Rigoma Division, Masaba North, Nyamira County.
