Nancy Gathoni Muchiri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Nancy Gathoni Muchiri of Kabiruini village, Ruguru ward, Mathira West sub county, Nyeri County on 24th October.

Wife of the late Geoffrey Muchiri Gitende. Daughter of the late Munyua Guandaru and the late Miriam Wambui. Mother of Ann Mumbi, the late Beatrice Wambui Kimani, Eunice Wamuyu Ndegwa, Joseph Njoroge, Agnes Wanjugu Kariuki (USA), Jack Maina, Julius Kanyugi, Reginah Wairimu, Catherine Wanjiru Kinyua, Loise Nyaruai Thumbi and Milka Njoki Githinji. Mother-in-law of the late Samuel Kimani, the late Peterkin Ndegwa, the late James Kariuki,Tirus Kinyua (Nanyuki), Samuel Thumbi (Taveta) and the late Geoffrey Githinji. Grandmother and Great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home Kabiruini village and at Gwa Thumbi Taveta, starting 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary Karatina on 2nd November, 2019 at 8.00am. A funeral service at AIPCA Church Kabiruini, starting 10.00am. Burial thereafter at her home Maria, Kabiruini.
