Nancy Wanja Nderitu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of a great matriarch of the Nderitu family Nancy Wanja Nderitu of Muruguru Village Nyeri, which occurred at Outspan Hospital on 21/01/2020 after a short illness.

Wife of the late Josiah Nderitu Kariuki, daughter of the late Stanley Kori and the late Zipporah Wairimu. Sister of Joshua Wanjohi, Monicah Wangu, Mary Wamaitha, Charles Ngatia, the late Veronicah Wambui and the late Harun Wambugu.

Beloved mother of the late Joseph Mathenge, Harrison Riitho of Narumoru, George Wanjohi of Embakasi, Robert Kariuki formerly of KPLC Thika, Wilson Kabui of the Judiciary, Charles Ngatia of KBC and Mary Wanjiru Nderitu formerly of KBC.

Mother-in-law of Lucy Mathenge, Margaret Riitho, Salome Wanjohi, Tabitha Kariuki, Jackline Kabui, Beatrice Ngatia and Peter Nderitu. Grandmother of 29 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at a her Muruguru home and at Holy Family Basilica, St Calisto hall, Cardinal Otunga Annex starting on Thursday, 23rd Friday, 24th and Monday 27th from 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on Wednesday 29th January 2020 at 8:00am, followed by a funeral service at P.C.E.A Muruguru Church at 10:00am.Thereafter, her body will laid to rest at her Muruguru Farm in Nyeri.
