1st Anniversary

One year has passed since you departed to be with the Lord and it seems like it is only yesterday. The pain is still raw, immeasurable and we continue to agonize. Losing you has taught us to reflect on our lives together and has reminded us to face every day with hope and memories of the good times we shared.

We are grateful to God Almighty for the time He gave you to us. We also glorify God for seeing us through the year just passed and we continue to put our total trust in Him going forward.

We the family wish to record our appreciation to all of you who stood with us in one way or another during that very difficult time. Thank you Clergy and Members of St. Marks Church Westlands under the leadership of Ven Canon J. Omungo, Thank you Members of the Ladies Fellowship, Mothers Union, KAMA, friends and relatives, Clergy and members of St Mary’s Church Kiini, Kirinyaga County. You supported us through prayer, telephone calls, text messages, material assistance and home visits. We value all of you in equal measure.

To Prof (Dr) E Ogutu and Dr. G. Kiarie we say a big thank you for the care you took while Nelson was at Nairobi Hospital. To the very small committee that arranged the funeral under very difficult circumstances due to lockdown and curfew we shall forever be grateful.
