3rd Anniversary

16/10/1957 – 7/5/2014

It will be 3 years tomorrow since the Lord Almighty called you to be with Him in heaven.

Your laughter, beautiful smile and fond memories of good times we shared together will forever be in our minds.

We truly miss you and pray that you rest in eternal peace till we meet again at that beautiful shore, heaven the place.

You will forever be loved and missed by your beloved husband Shem Kimani Macharia, daughters Leah Wanjiku, Mary Wangari and Ruth Wambui together with our Grandchildren Kegah, Gakhari and Jerome, son in law and many relatives and friends.

Rest in eternal Peace Mama Ciku.

In Loving Memory

There was a time soon after you left that the world echoed with your absence.

The sorrow was unimaginable and we craved to hear your laughter, your sarcasm, wisdom and warmth. The world refused to move (and even now, sometimes it stops). We laboured with grief as months fell off calendars and then years followed and it felt surreal that the world was and would be without you.

It will be five years tomorrow (5th May 2017) and your absence still echoes in our hearts. Your memories have turned into treasures now, and we cherish them. Even though grief comes alive every so often, we have learnt that our love for you has and will always remain the bedrock on which everything else that has come after you departure sits on.

Your friends and your family miss you so much. We know you are resting in peace and in the humour that we knew you for. From Symon, Melvine, Biko, Julius, June and Jim we love you, Ajim.

May the good Lord keep your soul in eternal peace.

5th Anniversary & Thanksgiving Mass

Five years ago today (5th May 2012) the Lord called you to be by his side. And we humbly had to accept His will. Your absence is still felt but God has given us Grace to keep on. Even though it has never been the same.

Greatly missed and still loved by your wife, Mary Karasha, your sons Timaiyo Kurampe, Sayianka and your daughter Sapiyon. Your grandchildren (Mark Kasine, Lemayian, Bill Tipanko, Lenana Gakiria and Lanoi Njoki.) Still fondly missed and remembered by your brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a thanksgiving mass/unveiling of the cross at his home in Oltepesi (Tinga) on Saturday 6th May as from 11am.

Papa, In God’s hands you rest.

In our hearts you live forever. R. I. P

In Ever Loving Memory 2nd Anniversary

Losing a mother is a pain that cannot be described in words.

It is impossible to move on from the memory of the woman who sacrificed so much in her own life, so that we could all have a better life.

Your laughter, the beautiful memories of the times we spent

Together brings a smile, only until the moment when we are reminded that you are no longer here, then tears well in our eyes. We truly miss you!

Forever loved by your loving husband, Children and the entire family.

Rest in eternal peace Mama John! A mother’s love is truly irreplaceable.

Loving Memory – 5th Anniversary

“There is a time for everything, and a season for

every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to tear and a time to mend… Ecc 3:1-4,7

Always in our hearts – we miss you.

For many years, long days and long nights, you bore pain with utmost courage and prayer.

One year ago today, God called you to rest in eternal glory. For us who sincerely loved you in life, we still love you the same in death.

We thank God for the years we shared and the wonderful legacy you left behind.

Fondly remembered by your husband Justice Mbogholi, sons Philip and John daughter Laura, grandson Andrew, friends and relatives.
