1st Anniversary

Jemimah, it’s been 365 days since you sadly departed from us, we have realised that in grieving one never heals from the pain and emptiness of losing a loved one. We just simply learn to live one day at a time with a heartache that gradually becomes a part of us.

Though you are gone, you are still fondly remembered for your compassion and friendship, your laughter and sense of humour, your hardworking nature and integrity plus your very strong values and discipline, your great respect and love for everyone you met in life and above all your love for cooking. Every moment we spent with you is a moment forever cherished in our hearts. You were a great parent to your children and also a loving daughter to your parents and only sister to your brothers. We celebrate your life even in death and every day because you made the world a brighter and better place for many.
Babygal you were loved and cherished by many and now sadly missed by many especially your (Baby Gal) husband Antony Opiyo, your children Jason, Jane and Mabel, your parents Jacob and Mabel Manyasa, the Opiyo’s, the Oruko’s, your siblings Paul, Robert and Erastus Manyasa, your cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunties, uncles, all relatives far and wide, friends and colleagues.

Our loved ones never leave our side, even if death do us part, their souls still remain safe in our hearts, unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and held so dear. We will love and cherish you forever. Nyasaye has you in his arms, we have you in our hearts.

1st Anniversary / In Loving Memory

1938 – 11/06/2016

It is now one year since you went to be with the Lord. We continue to celebrate the memories of the time we had together.
The gap you left in our hearts remains a mixture of pain and anticipation of when we shall meet again. May the winds of heaven blow and whisper in your ears how much we love and miss you and wish you were here.
You will forever be loved and missed by your loving wife, family, relatives and friends.
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who walked and prayed with us and continue to.
Rest in Eternal peace.

Ten Year Anniversary

You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts.

We may not be able to see your face but we will always see your sweet smile. We may never hear your voice but you will forever echo in our souls.

No matter how many years go by, the pain of your death never diminishes. The love you had for all of us is something we deeply miss as much as we miss your presence in our lives.

It is close to sixteen years since you went to “the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem and to the innumerable company of angels in joyful assembly” (Heb 12:22). Yes, “you rested from your labour and your works follow you” (Rev, 14:13). Mary, you fought the good fight, you finished your course, you kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give you at that day: 2nd Timothy 2:7-8

There will be a remembrance service to be held on Friday 26th May 2017 at the family’s home; Kara-ini village, Kariko Sublocation, Kirinyaga County, starting at 12 noon.

A loving and wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, in-law and neighbor.

Dearly remembered and missed by your husband (Charles), daughter (Mercy), your parents (Ven and Mrs Kago, Rosemary Kabubo) and the entire Kago and Kabubo families.
