8th Anniversary / In Loving Memory

It has been 8years and we still celebrate you as our dearest mum.

Your sweet memories still remain fresh in our minds. Life has been challenging without you in our lives, but we thank God for the undying strength that He has given us.

We admit that we miss you so much and life would have been amazingly different if you were still alive, but there is a reason God took you away from us. Keep on dancing with the angels Mum.

You are dearly missed by your husband Meshack, sons Allan and Kevin, daughters Amanda and Annette, relatives and friends.

 

 

 

 

18th Year Anniversary

(April 11, 2017)

Though time has gone very fast: days, weeks, and months have turned to 18 years today without you or your voice.

These years have been marked with voids which we have learnt to come to terms with by replacing our loss, hurt and tears with your loving memories and leaning on God for comfort and refuge. We remember you as a special husband, great father and friend to many. Your generosity, humility, wisdom, kindness, faithfulness and laughter are spoken of every day. We remember you every day.

“Our hero” you will always be.

25 Years On……

13 March 1939 – 12 April 1992

It is now 25 years since you departed from us and went to be with the Lord. Fondly remembered by your beloved wife Mary Wanjiku, your children Anne Njeri, Agatha Wairimu, Thomas Maina, Andrew Mungai and Irene Wangui, grandchildren, other relatives, colleagues at Government Press, friends and neighbours.

A memorial and thanksgiving service will be held at the family home in Karinga village, Kigumo division. Murang’a County on Monday 17th April 2017 at 10.00am.

 All are welcome.

The things we feel most deeply, are the hardest things to say. It’s been four years since you found release from daily cares.

To different people you were a different being, a wife, mother, daughter, sister, relative, friend and in each of our hearts you remain forever loved by kin and friends.

Mum, 9 years ago you left us and went to be with the Lord,

We sit and ponder how very much we would like to talk with you today,

There are so many things we didn’t get to say,

We know how much you cared for us.

You brought endless sunshine until you went away, but your place was ready in heaven far above….

 

And you had to leave behind all those you dearly loved,

And though you have walked Heaven’s doors, we are never apart because you are in our hearts.

Oh how we wish you were here today, To see all the blessings that God has given us,

But we know somehow you are guiding our paths.

You were a best friend and confidant,

And you completed our soul,

And life without you mum feels incomplete,

Without a goal,

But we know you are by God’s side, for there is no better place to be.

All we can say is “We had a wonderful mum whose heart was solid gold”.
