Our Beloved Dad, Ten years have passed by since we watched you leave us, to rest with the Lord. Our hearts still ache with the sadness of missing you. But the memories we treasure, reminds us that a part of you remains with us forever. Your humility, courage, integrity, hard-work and selfless love, we treasure with pride. If love alone could have saved you, you would still be here. Dad, you are in our hearts, in our thoughts, in our prayers forever.

Thank you for watching over us. We love you Dad. From your beloved wife, Martha. Your children: Mary & Musau, Grace, Martin & Anastasia, Sheila & Ngatia, Patricia & Kenny. Your grandchildren: Murugi, Rebecca, Muchiri, Mwikali, Makena, Victor, Wambui, Mugambi. Makayla, Muriuki and Michael.

None of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

Romans 14:7-9

In Loving Memory

1942 – 16th March 2007

‘Silent is the voice we loved to hear; Too far away for sight or speech.

But not too far for thought to reach.

Sweet to remember him who once was here,

And who, though absent, is just as dear.’

It has been ten years of healing but God

has been faithful.

Remembered by adoring wife, children, grandchildren, larger family and friends.

Blessed are the dead in Christ…for their deeds will follow them. Rev 14:13

In loving memory of R.N.K Egessa, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and confidant. A precious gift, deeply devoted to God and family, strong, courageous, and full of humour. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. What we would give to hear your voice and see your face again.

Loved with a love beyond all telling. Missed with a grief beyond all tears.
