1st Anniversary/Appreciation

Days have turned to one year since the most painful moment when the cruel hand of death snatched you from us. We miss you dearly and your smile, humbleness and respect remains fresh in our hearts.

The void remains huge but God’s Grace has been sufficient.

You will forever remain in our hearts.

Fondly remembered by Dad, Mum, Brother Tim, Grandma, Uncles, Cousins Nephews nieces and friends.

We also express our sincere appreciation to relatives, friends and all well-wishers who stood with us and continue to stand with us.

Your overwhelming love, kindness, prayers and support will forever remain in our hearts.

We, the family of the late Chesang Cheptugen Kapakwei Kaptaiwa clan would like to sincerely thank God and all of you who stood with us recently as we bid farewell to our beloved Koko Elizabeth Chesang who went to be with the Lord on 25th June,2017.

We express special appreciation to Kapkessum dispensary, Kapkessum catholic church among others. Elgeyo-Marakwet County led by the Governor H.E Eng. Alex Tolgos, relatives, friends, uncles, aunties and the entire Kapkessum fraternity and its environs. Special thanks also go to Mr. Kariuki’s family and friends in Britain.

We are grateful for your prayers, kindness, material support and in seeing us through the difficult time; we are also glad for the joy, blessing and comfort you brought to our family as we celebrate matriarchs’ life and legacy. She left a living legacy in many grandchildren who span all walks of life.

Appreciation/Thanksgiving

We the Kimani Family take this opportunity to appreciate and thank all our friends, family, churches and the funeral committee for the support and care shown during the difficult period following the passing on of our beloved late Kevin Kabogo Kimani.

We are deeply touched. You rallied immediately, consoled us and came together to help us navigate through this sad loss. During this time, your calls, texts and prayers & God’s Grace kept us going. We appreciate the personal financial sacrifices you made. Beyond the funds, you invested your time, thoughts and your presence – they mean a lot.

Truly we have an amazing God and we have seen His goodness through each and every one of you. To the individuals and groups (Nakuru, Nairobi, Kiambu, Githunguri & USA), kindly accept our deepest gratitude. We thank God for each and every one of you. May his Grace, Favor and Blessings be upon each of one you and your families. Pass our deepest gratitude to those in your network who supported us.

Finally, all thanks, glory, honor and praise be to God for Kevin and the sacrifice of Jesus – the way to everlasting life.

We the family of the late Richard Nyandika, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the almighty God for the life we shared with our beloved father- Richard.

We also convey our profound thanks to all well-wishers, friends and relatives, who overwhelmingly and unreservedly supported us through prayers, words of encouragement, hospital and home visits, financial support and in all other ways during the sickness and at the funeral of our dear dad.

While we would like to thank each individually, it’s impossible to mention each by name. However, we would like to particularly extend our appreciation to Noonkopir Seventh day Adventist church, Kitengela district SDA members, extended family, in-laws, all friends and the funeral organizing committees in Kitengela, Athi River and Nakuru.

We the family of the late Mwalimu Julius Macharia Ndugire, wish to thank all those who stood with us during the illness, subsequent death, funeral arrangements and the final send off of our family patriarch. The support you gave us, whether moral, spiritual or material, gave us solace and comfort in a very trying and challenging period. And since it is not practically possible to mention each one of you by name, kindly allow us to mention a few.

We felt immensely, God’s love and grace directly to each one of us; and through the Church and the servants of the Everlasting God. Special mention goes to the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) led by the RT. Rev. Julius Karanu(Bishop Diocese of Murang’a South); the PCEA Gateway Church Thome, the ACK St. Mark’s Church Westlands, Prayers Beyond Boundaries Ministries Church and ACK Kamung’ang’a Church.

The entire family and community were touched by the moving tributes of His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta and Her Excellency First Lady Margaret Kenyatta. We are also grateful for the overwhelming support by Senior Public and Private Sector Officials. In particular, we were humbled by the presence of the many Cabinet Secretaries, Chief of Staff/Head of Public Service and Principal Secretaries at both the prayer meetings and burial ceremony.

We also wish to acknowledge and appreciate the dedication shown by the doctors. In particular, Dr. Gladwell Kiarie, Dr. Robert Mathenge, Dr. John Kariuki, Prof. Lule and Prof. Macharia. We shall be eternally grateful to the Nairobi Hospital and nurses, led by Ms. E Osinde, Mr. J. Kaloki, Mr. D. Ngugi, Mr. G. Kabane and Mr. E. Munene.

We also truly appreciate the dedication and sacrifice of the funeral arrangement committees at Gigiri (Chaired by Dr. Benson Wairegi), Holy Family Basilica(Chaired by Mr. Kinya Gichohi) and Gachocho; and all those who turned up for prayer meetings and final send off on 16th June, 2017. Once again, since it is not possible to reach out to each one of you, kindly accept the family’s gratitude led by Mrs. Phyllis Macharia(widow), children and relatives.

May the Almighty and Everlasting God bless you all.

Peter Kaniah and the Deputy Secretary General, Rev Alfred Kanga. This appreciation is shared with the GAC Business Committee for providing invaluable support in ensuring a befitting occasion.

To the leadership and members of PCEA Nyamachaki, Ruring’u, Riamukurwe and Kiriani Churches who assisted the family in giving him a very fitting farewell notwithstanding their kind messages of encouragement, we say thank you. In particular, we wish to recognize the funeral committee in Nyeri led by the Moderator of Nyeri Presbytery Rev. Michael Inoti and the family liaison Mr. Samuel Mwaria. Your commitment and support ensured a dignified send off for the Very Reverend and we thank you. Our sincere gratitude goes to various county government departments for their assistance in ensuring safety and smooth travel from Nyeri to Chogoria.

We thank all the doctors and staff at various hospitals who have tended to Rev. Muindi with truly loving hearts. May the Lord bless you as you continue to serve.

Our appreciation also extends to the medical and nursing staff at the Nairobi Hospital ICU and Aga Khan University Hospital. We would like to specifically thank Dr Munene Irimu and Dr Philip Kisyoka for the medical care and attention extended to our mum until her demise. Staff at Prime Physiotherapy and the caregivers who assisted mum in various ways during her illness, please accept our appreciation. Since it is not possible to reach each and every one of you in person, kindly accept this as an expression of gratitude for your valuable support by being there for us during our hour of grief and ensuring we gave mum a befitting farewell to eternal life.

Eternal rest grant unto her Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace, Amen.
