We the family of the departed Sister-in-Christ Rahab Wairuri Gathuya, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who stood by us during this very difficult time.

We express our appreciation for the ministry and pastoral care received from the East African Revival Fellowship, ACK. Emmanuel Church Wahundura, ACK St. James Buruburu Church, KAG Gikambura, ACK St. Peters Uhuru Church Tumaini Parish, Good Shepherd AG Church, PCEA Kikuyu Church and Wahundura High School for the logistical support.

Special thanks go to the team of doctors, nurses and attendants who have looked after her over the years.

Since we are unable to mention all of you by name, please accept our sincere gratitude for all who supported us through your visits, prayers, messages, telephone calls, posts, gifts and material support.

We wish to express our appreciation to many loving relatives, neighbours, clergy, friends – both local and international – who visited, called us, offered material and emotional support, we humbly request that you accept this note as an expression of our most sincere gratitude and appreciation.

Special thanks to the Head Office Secretariat of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) in particular the Moderator of the General Assembly, Right Rev. Julius Mwamba, Secretary General, Rev. Peter Kaniah and the Deputy Secretary General, Rev Alfred Kanga. This appreciation is shared with the GAC Business Committee for providing invaluable support in ensuring a befitting occasion.

To the leadership and members of PCEA Nyamachaki, Ruring’u, Riamukurwe and Kiriani Churches who assisted the family in giving him a very fitting farewell notwithstanding their kind messages of encouragement, we say thank you. In particular, we wish to recognize the funeral committee in Nyeri led by the Moderator of Nyeri Presbytery Rev. Michael Inoti and the family liaison Mr. Samuel Mwaria. Your commitment and support ensured a dignified send off for the Very Reverend and we thank you. Our sincere gratitude goes to various county government departments for their assistance in ensuring safety and smooth travel from Nyeri to Chogoria.

We thank all the doctors and staff at various hospitals who have tended to Rev. Muindi with truly loving hearts. May the Lord bless you as you continue to serve.

Our appreciation also extends to the medical and nursing staff at the Nairobi Hospital ICU and Aga Khan University Hospital. We would like to specifically thank Dr Munene Irimu and Dr Philip Kisyoka for the medical care and attention extended to our mum until her demise. Staff at Prime Physiotherapy and the caregivers who assisted mum in various ways during her illness, please accept our appreciation. Since it is not possible to reach each and every one of you in person, kindly accept this as an expression of gratitude for your valuable support by being there for us during our hour of grief and ensuring we gave mum a befitting farewell to eternal life.

We the family of the late Stephen Kangethe Murihia, thank the Lord Almighty for giving a lovely mother the late Margaret Wanjiku Kangethe.

We express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all our relatives, friends, neighbours, .colleagues and acquaintances for your prayers and tireless, moral, financial and material support during the funeral arrangements of our mum. We sincerely appreciate the support,. ministry and encouragement from various groups, churches, clergy and leadership of various churches including ACK St Marks Church Mukui, and more specifically the Mothers Union, Emmanuel Church Kibiku, St Titos Orthodox Church, and Parklands Baptist Church amongst others.

We appreciate the time and commitment of Retired Bishop Peter Njenga who presided the funeral, Rural Dean Samuel Chege and Machatha, the organizing committee led by Stanley Kinyanjui, groups and individuals that sacrificed their times and resources to ensure our Mum’s send off was perfect.

We thank the organizations that assisted us in the logistics of the funeral including Magnate Ventures, Wander Joy Ltd, Montezuma and Monalisa amongst others. Our family is overwhelmed by the love shown by Lay Cannons Ernest Njenga Kiruku and GideonNuma and Dr Kariba Muniu who have stood with us in the last two years that all our parents have departed. Words cannot express what this meant to us.
