Timothy Charles Muchukah

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Timothy Charles Muchukah fondly known as Price Price and beloved husband to ConsolatahVVanjiru Muchukah, folloWing a long illness bravely fought.

Charles was the 3rd born son of the late Minneh VVanjiku Matenjwa. Brother of the late Lawrence Matenjwa, Owen Muiruri, Kenneth Kabebe and Catherine Gatugi.

Cherished father of Linah Muchukah (Stanbic), Lawrence Matenjwa (British High Commission) and Joyce Muchukah (CBK). Father-in-law of Willy Ombisi, Ruth Wanjiru and Baraka Murhabazi Elise. Doting grandfather of Minneh Wanjiru and Imani Feza Baraka

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 5.30 pm at his homes in Komarock, Nairobi and Kamandura, Limuru.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Nairobi at 9.00am on Friday 29th August 2025. The funeral service shall be held at PCEA Joshua Matenjwa Church Parish, Limuru.

Wife of the late Prof. Omari Shaban of Les Wanyika. Mother of Milka EmiIly Anyango Schneider and the late Victor Preston Onyango Otieno. Grandmother of Jemique Beyonce Fruehauf and Tristan Steel Fruehauf of Germany.

Sister of the late Joyce Awino Odhiambo, the late Gladys OgoIla, the late Barrack Otieno, the late Seline Mtambo, the late Lorna Okello, Mary Rado, the late Margaret Otieno, Kenneth Ayub, Maurice Oginga and the late Mildred Adhiambo.

She was the beloved aunt to many descendants of Jairo Okoyo.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her residence at Mbaga Village, Siaya.

The cortege leaves Rangala Mission Hospital on the 29tr August 2025 at 10.00A.M for a Requiem mass at Church Of Christ In Africa (CCA jOHERA). She will be buried on the 30th August 2025 at her home in Mbaga Village, Siaya County.

Rachel Nduta Ngumo

We regret to announce the death of Rachel Nduta Ngumo which occurred on 20th August, 2025.

She was daughter of the late Godfrey Ngumo Nyagah and Mary Wangari Ngumo. She was sister of Peter Kinyanjui, Peter Mwaura, Geoffrey Chege, Patrick Mbugua, Evanson Maina, Dominic Marika, Sharon Wanjiku, Rose Wangari, Judy Maina and Naomi.

She was an aunt of Enos, Jedidiah, Gracious, Wanjiru, Ezra and Debra.

She was cousin of Peter Nyagah Chege, Margaret ‘Olangui Chege, Peter Githua, Peter Kinyanjui Maina, Peter Kinyanjui Wainaina and a beloved relative to many others.

Until her demise, she was working with Kenya Orient Insurance Ltd.

Daily meetings are being held every day at the family’s home in Karura ka MCirimo from 5:00 p.m.

The cortege will depart from Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home along the Northern Bypass, at 8:00 a.m., followed by the funeral ceremony at her family’s farm at Karura Kagongo, Kiambaa sub-county, Kiambu County, on Thursday, 28th August, 2025 at 11:00 am.

Rosemary Nyambura Nyoike

Sister of the late Samuel Ndungu and the late Betha Muthoni.

Daughter in law of the late Mr and Mrs Solomon Kariithi (Kanyonyo). Sister-in-law of Bedan Mwaura, the late Rudia, Nyambura,Wairimu and Njoki.

Grandmother of Edwin, Eddie, Keisha, Roselyne, Wesley and Daniel. Aunty, Cousin and friend to many.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati on Thursday 28″‘ August 2025 at 8:30 a.m. Funeral service will be held at St Charles Lwanga School Karimamwaro Sub-location, Kandara, Muranga County at 1030 a.m. She will be laid to rest at her home in Karimamwaro village.

The cortege leaves KU Memorial Funeral Home on Friday 29 August 2025 at 8:00am for a funeral service at Buruburu Voice of Salvation and Healing Church 10.00am, followed by a private close family ceremony.

Daily meetings are being held at his family home in Rabai Road Estate, Nairobi from 5.00pm.

He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, empathy and wisdom.

We regret to announce the passing on of Jedidah Wanjiru Muthui of Kiruri Kangema Sub-County, Murang’a County, which occurred on 20/08/2025.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Muthui Kinyanjui Loving mother of Esther Wanjiru Kiama, Jane Muthoni Mwaura, the late Richard Kinyanjui, James Gitonga, and Peter Cherere. Mother-in-law of the late David Kiama Kuru, Christopher Mwaura, Esther Kinyanjui, Naomi Gitonga, and Bancy Cherere. Grandmother of many and great-grandmother to many.

She was a sister of the late Muthoni, Njuguna (late),Wacatha, Njakairu, Muringi, Gitahi, Mwangi, and Ngunguru.

Funeral arrangements are currently taking place at her home in Kiruri Village, Ruiru (Mugutha and Runda Gardens).

The burial will be held on Friday, 29th August 2025. The cortege will leave KU Referral Funeral Home along Northern Bypass at 7:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at Kiruri Boys Secondary School starting from 10:00 aim interment will take place at her Farm in Kiruri Village.

Samuel Kigomo Njogu

Treasured mother of Catherine Kendi, Kelvin Kimathi, Purity Nkatha Pinky) and William Mutwiri. Loving mother-in-law of Felix Maitethia, Faith Muthoni and Wendy Nkatha.

A doting grandmother of Fidel, Cheryl, Shelby, Kelsey, Amanda, Nayah and others.

He was a father-in-law of Mark Croal, Samuel Mwaura, Mercy Wangu, Doreen Kajuju & Ekhrana Ebrahim.

He was the grandfather of Afreen, Leo, Leila, Hadassah, Nadine & Kayla.

Brother of Irene Wangui, the late John Mbora, Mary Wanjiku, the late Charles Kariuki, & Esther Wangui and step brother of Mariamu, the late Agnes and Hilda.

He was a son in-law of the late John Kirango & the late Catherine Wangari.

A brother-in-law of Agnes Wanjiku, Geoffrey Maina, Rosalind Wambui, the late Kenneth Thuku, Elizabeth Wambui, Salome Wanjiku, Beth Wanjiku and Francis Wachira.

The cortege will leave the Nyeri Funeral Home – Outspan on Friday, 29th August, 2025 for burial at his home in Gatitu, Nyeri.

 

David Ng’ang’a Kung’u

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of David Ng’ang’a Kung’u of NgechaVillage, Limuru Sub-county, Kiambu County.

He was the second born in the family. Son of the late Mary Wamucii of Kiambu County. Brother of the late Geoffrey Mbai, John Kung’u, Sarah Wambui, Peninah Wanjiku and Grace Njeri.

Husband of the late Margaret Njeri Ng’ang’a. Loving father of Mary Nduta, John Kung’u and James Kahuria.

Son-in-law of the late Samuel Kahuria Mugeni and Loice Wanjiku.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Hospital on Thursday 28th August 2025. The burial service will take place on the same day at Ngorongo near Ngorongo Tea Factory, Kiambu County.
