Loving wife of Eliud Khayo and caring mother of Dr. Lewis Khayo; daughter of the late Harriet Akinyi and the late Charles Okaalo; sister of Jethro Ayumba, Richard Osewo, Paul Moses Omoto and Michael Awirnbo; grand-daughter of Richard Osewo & Margaret Osewo, the late Richard Okaalo and the late Sarah Okaalo; daughter-in-law of the late Fredrick Khayo and Alice Khakasa Khayo; sister-in-law of Roselyda, Godfrey, Elkana, Carolyne, Benard, Emmanuel, Stanley, Rhoda, Gladys, Stephen, Winnie, Esther, David, Christopher, Jennifer, Mark, joseck, Philip, Daniel, Suchi, and many others, a cousin; niece; aunt;, friend and mentor to many.

There’ll be a fundraising event on Sunday, 24th August 2025 from 3:00 pm at ACK St. James Buruburu and a memorial service on Tuesday, 26″ August 2025, at the same venue, from 2:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan University Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 28th August 2025. Burial will take place at her home in Khalaba Village, Kabuchai Constituency, Bungoma County, on Saturday, 30th August 2025.

Family and friends are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, from 5:30 p.m., and at Mzee Khayo’s home, Khalaba Village, for prayers and funeral arrangements. All who knew Sarah are kindly invited to attend and celebrate her life.

She leaves behind cherished memories that will forever live in our hearts.

Beloved husband of Mercy Wangeci Weru.

Father of Edward Maina Githui & Zahra Wanjiku,the late Hellen Wairimu Riitho & Albert Riitho, Charles Muriuki Weru and Lilian Waruguru Muriithi & Alex Muriithi Njeru.

Brother of the late Peterson Kinyua Githui, Judy Mumbi Warutere, the late Eustace Kanyiri Githui and the late Raphael Muriithi Githui. He was a grandfather a great grandfather.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily at his home in RuthagatiVillage, MathiraWest Sub-County, Nyeri County.

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital Mortuary on Monday 25th August 2025 at 8.00 AM. The funeral service and burial will be at his home in Ruthagati Village, Mathira West Sub-County, Nyeri County on the same day at 11.00AM.

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s sovereign will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mrs. Mary Kagehi Migoye, on Sunday 10th of August 2025 at her home Uthiru, 87. She Succumbed to cancer.

Wife of Rev. Peter Migoye of Kirungii Pentecostal Church Kangemi.

Mary was the daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Ahinga. She was daughter-in-law of the late Mr & Mrs Chumba.

She was the mother of Margaret, Everline, Lilian & Kevin.

She was the sister of Hellen, Ayuya, the late Alfayo, late Safan, late Fanuel, the late Janet.

She was sister-in-law of Meshack, Esther, AnnFlorence, Beatrice, the late Margaret, Daniel, John David.

She was mother-in-law of Renson & Daniel. She was grandmother of Bianca, Ramsey. She was an aunt, cousin and friend of many.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday the 21st of August 2025 at Kirungii Pentecostal Church, Kangemi from 8:00am.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday 23rd of August 2025 at Ivugwi Village
Lugari District, Likuyani Sub-location near Ivugwi Primary School.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her home in Uthiru, 87 Nairobi until Thursday 21st of August 2025 and continuing at her family home in lvugwi Village, Lugari.

Son of the late Joram Ndirangu and Lydia Wangu. Son-In-law of the late Gilbert Mwathi and Jedidah Wanjiku.

He was dear husband of Retired Elder Margaret Muthoni Munyiri. Loving father of Lydia Wanjiru Munyiri, Eric Ndirangu Munyiri, Kennedy Kamau Munyiri and John Mwangi Munyiri. Loving father-in-law of Paul Shannon, Beatrice Warukira, Mary Wanjiru and Silvia Muthoni. Dear grandfather of Andy Munyiri, Jonathan Munyiri, Derrick Munyiri, Cruz Munyiri, Raymond Wachira, Javin Munyiri, Tasha Muthoni, Myles Njaramba, Jakes Ndirangu,Myra Muthoni and many others.

Brother of John Mwangi, the late Patrick Kabira, the late Ann Nyaguchie, Jecinta Gathoni and Joyce Njoki. Brother-in-law of the late John Mwaniki, Madrine Njeri, the late Gladys Kanini, Eunice Mumbi, Isabella Wanjiru, Solomon Riri, Douglas Nguchara, Jane Wangui, Anthony Nyoike, Bancy Wambui and Caroline Wangare. Cousin, uncle, mentor and friend to many.

Prayer meetings are ongoing at his Maragima residence along Chaka – Sagana Stacelodge Road in Nyeri County starting 3.00pm and Nyeri Ibis Hotel starting 7.00pm daily.

There will be an Inter-denomination Service on Sunday 24th August at his Maragima Residence.

The cortege will leave Outspan Funeral Home Nyeri on Wednesday 27th August 2025 at 9.00am for send-off service at PCEA Maragima Church at 10.00am and burial procession thereafter at the family home in Maragima.

Mzee George Joseck Masita

We are saddened to announce the death of Mzee George Joseck Masita, an ordained elder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, who served faithfully in Kenya and Canada. Mzee Masita was born on 25 November 1944 in Kisii, Kenya.

He was the beloved son of the late Elijah Opande and the late Mama Rebecca Bonareri.

Beloved husband of Mary Moraa Masita, and loving father of Sarah (Canada), Armstrong (Kenya),Tracey (Canada), Lillian (Kenya), Joshua (Saudi Arabia), Zipporah (Canada) and Enock (Kenya). He leaves behind twenty- six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren (Levi and Noah). He is predeceased by his son Samuel.

Mzee Masita was a cherished brother of Mikael Sorobi, Elizabeth Kerubo, Mary Nyamokami, the late Pastor David Mbwaro, and Peninah Moraa. He was an uncle to many nephews and nieces.

At his core, Mzee Masita was a man of faith, family, and integrity. Mzee Masita served as a Police Officer with the Kenya Police for fifteen years. He later joined the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI), where he worked until the year 2000, the year he relocated to Canada, where he lived until his passing.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, 22 August, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. (ET) at Scarborough SDA Church, 4350 Lawrence Avenue E, Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2700 Kingston Rd, Scarborough. Ontario-Canada IMS.

We announce the death of Mrs Pauline Awuor Omumbo, of APA Insurance, which occurred on 28th July 2025, at The Nairobi Hospital.

She was the wife of Mr Nelson Bulu, daughter of Mr John Omumbo and Mrs Victoria Wamban, parent of Mr Gregory Omondi Dende, Mr Elvies Odhiambo Dende, Ms Doris Hope Dende and Mr Joseph Ricardo Dende and sister of Mr Joseph Omumbo, Mrs Lucy Omumbo, Mrs Mary Omumbo and Mrs Christine Omumbo.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on 22nd August 2025, at 6:00 am. The burial will be on 23rd August 2025 at Uyoma, Kabudha, Ndigwa

She was the firstborn daughter of Wilson Nzuki :Ind the late Alice Mutheu (Ndaliki) and loving sister of Joshua Musa,Alfred Kyalo, the late Jackson Mutwika, Julius Muendo, Annah Mueni and Benjamin Mulli.

She was daughter in law of the late Kyenge and the late Lydia Kyenge. Sister-in-law of Timothy, Jonathan, Thomas, Sarah, Ruth, Janet, Jedidah, Grace, Mary, Regina, Rose, Fridah, and the late Kithuka.
