Mother of Maurice Mutuku, Patrick Matuu, Emily, Prof. Magdalene Kasyoka, the late Noah Kyalo, Catherine Mukeli, Philomena Mwende and Joseph Mutie. Stepmother of Kanyaa, Florence, Evelyne Mwikali, Mutavi, Mult, Anna, Mbathe, Andrew Thuvu and Helen. Stepson of the late Willy Kimeu, Steve Mwangi, Peter Muinde and Justus Katuba.

The cortege leaves Tribute Funeral Home at Syongila Kitui on Friday 15th August 2025 for burial at her home in Kasue Village, near Kabati town in Kitui County from 7:00 am.

Eng. Pauline Njeri Gicharu-Kelly

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Eng, Pauline Njeri Gicharu—Kelly of Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), which occurred on 9th August 2025 at MP Shah Hospital.

Pauline was the loving wife of Kelly Musyoki (Norwegian Red Cross) and a devoted mother of Jeremy MeIli and Sandra Mutindi.

Born on 19th November 1978, she was the beloved daughter of the late Moses Gicharu and Mary N yawira.

She was a cherished sister of Jane Wambui, Dorcas Gathoni (USA), CPA Fredrick Gicharu (REREC), and Catherine Wanjiru.

Daughter-in-law of Josphat Musyoki (formerly of NSSF) and Christine Musyoki. She was sister-in-law of Daniel Mucua & Beatrice Kairo, Elizabeth Ndinda & Paul Gathige, Kennedy Kyalo & Miriam Mulee and Nancy Keeru.

Pauline was a dearly loved aunt of Leslie, Natalie, Nicole, Raymond, Hope, Virginia, Irene, Nathan, Mary,Amy, Christine, Michael, Stephen, Esther, and many others.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, 19th August 2025 at Parklands Baptist Church, Westlands from 2:00 PM.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Wednesday, 20th August 2025, with the cortege departing from Lee Funeral Home at 7:00 AM for her final resting place at her home in Muumandu Village, Machakos County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Kabati on Tuesday, 19th August 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral service at Mwarano Secondary School Grounds (Kangari) at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at his Mwarano farm.

Chrispinus Ojiambo Solo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Dad, Chrispinus Ojiambo Solo, which occurred on 3rd August 2025.

Son of the late Pascal Ojiambo Solo and Jenta Anyango Oduke.

Chrispinus was a loving husband of Lilian Bunyanza Masiga. He was a devoted father of Purity Ojiambo, Immaculate Ojiambo, Sharleen Ojiambo, Michelle Ojiambo, Demax Ojiambo, Scholastica Ojiambo, Melissa Ojiambo. Cherished Friend, and a respected member of the community.

He was a beloved brother of the late Judith Knight, the late Millicent Solo, Morrine, Mary, Helen, Lydia.

Family and his friends will be meeting at his home Embakasi, Imara Daima.

The cortege leave Lee Funeral Home on 14th August 2025 at 10.00am. Burial date will be 16th August 2025 at Mudembi Village, Bundalangi Sub County, in Busia County.

Husband of Hannah Wanjiru Rukwaro, Father of Kennedy Rukwaro, Wangari Rukwaro and Njoroge Rukwaro. Father-in-law of Bilha Wanjiru Thairu and Kesiah Wanjiru. Grandfather of Ethan Wakibia, Gregory John Rukwaro Thairu, Chosen Tamara Wangari and Joseph Chege Thairu.

He was brother of Priscilla Kabui, Susan Muthui, the late Ephantus Wandimi, Serah Ndung’u, Ann Wathegi, the late Benjamin Ngambi, Michael Muthui, the late Ruth Ndirangu, the late Ruth Kuria, the late George Ngambi, the late Joseph Muchemi, Peter Gatero, David Gatero, the late Samuel Ndiritu, Margaret Wahego, the late Grace Mwangi and Mary Nyaga.

He was son in-law of Njoroge Maina and Margaret Mweru Njoroge. He was brother-in-law of the late Michael Maina, the late Beth Wangui, the late Grace Wanjiku,the late Monica Wangechi, Muchuwe Njoroge, George Njoroge, Mucani Njoroge, Wangechi Njoroge and Macharia Njoroge, the late Dr. Joseph Chege and Monica Wanjiru (Gatundu). He was an uncle and cousin to many.

Until his death he was the Chairman Cosmopolitan D.T Sacco.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home at 8:00AM on Friday 15th August 2025. The service will be held at Kunste Grounds from 9:00AM. Thereafter the burial will proceed to his home at Murunyu, near Murunyu Secondary School.

She was the daughter of the late Mwangi and the late Waithera. She was a sister of the late Kariuki Mwangi and Monicah Wanjiku Mugi.

She was the wife of the late Geoffrey Kamau Ng’ang a (Miyako). She was a co-wife of Peninah Wanjiru Kamau and Charity Wanjugu Kamau.

Grace was a loving mother of George Wainaina (Eagle Academy), John Mwangi (Emky Construction), Margaret Kinyanjui, Priscillah Waithera (Prikam),Alfred Njehia, James Wainaina (Jimmyjam), Judy Njoroge, Paul Kinuthia (USA), Jayne Wakaimba, the late Mike Kamau, the late Malik. Njehia,Winnie Kamau (Kenya High), the late Fred Githua, David Munyui (USA), Fred Githua (USA) and Margaret Magiri (USA). She is survived by 50 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Mother in-law and Aunt to many.

Peter Muturi Kangethe (Papa)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Muturi Kangethe (Papa) of Afritech General Supplies which occurred on Friday 1st August 2025, after a long illness.

Son of the late Hezron Kangethe and the late Joyce Njoki.

He was a beloved husband of Mary Wangeci and a devoted father of Ken Kangethe, Joyce Njoki & Michael Nduati and Faith Wambui.

A loving brother of the late Sammy Mbugua, the late Daniel Mbarathi, Julius Ngugi, Lucy Njeri, George Njoroge and Jane Nyambura.

He was the son-in-law of the late Daniel Kabugi and the late Rahab Wambui.

He was a grandfather of Amani, Arizi & Kibe. Brother-in-law, uncle and cousin to many.

The funeral arrangements are taking place daily from 5.30pm-7.00pm at his residence in Ruiru Matangi junction, his ancestral home in Gatanga Muranga county and Jimlizer hotel in Buruburu.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching & Referral Funeral -Home on Friday 15/8/25 at 7.30am. The funeral service. will be from 11.00am in Kiawahiga Village, Gatanga Sub-county, Muranga County.
