The cortege will leave Rang’ala Funeral Home on Friday 25th July 2025 at noon. A Requiem mass will be held in her honor at St. Joseph the worker Ugunja Catholic Church on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2.00pm.

Burial mass will take place on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at her home in Sirandumb Village Ugunja at 1.00 pm.

He was son of the late Timothy Muchungi Gichuki and the late Janet Wanjira Muchungi, brother of Joyce Wakiuru & the late Gideon Waruiru Muiga, Rose Wathika & Simon Mathengc VVagema, Rtd Elder Alice Nyambura & Edward Ngugi Kairo, Perk Wanjiku, Livingstone Gitonga & Rachel Kahuki Gitonga, Lilian Theru & William Ngara Mwangi and the late Wilson Kibuthu & Elder Florence Kibuthu.

Son in-law of the late Kiburi Muchemi & Foiby VVangeshi Kiburi, brother in-law of Julia Nyakinyua, Joseph Muchemi Kiburi, Elizabeth Muthoni, late James Ndiritu Kiburi and Zelipha Wamahiga Macharia.

He was beloved uncle and grandfather to many.

Naomi Kimeu Muasya It is with deep sorrow but with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Naomi Kimeu Muasya.

A loving mother of Benjamin Mutisya, the late Jane Mwikali, Amos Muasya, Zipporah Munyao, Eunice Monzi, Charles Kyalo, Florence Muema, Isabel Ndunge and Erastus Maweu. Mother in law of Marietta Mutisya, Mary Amos, Carol Kyalo, and Barbara Mukami, Francis Mulinge, Dr Julius Muia, Lazarus Muema and Paul Maweu.

She was sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Naomi was called to eternal rest in the early hours of Wednesday 16th July 2025 after a short illness.

She was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and kindness, touching countless lives with her warmth and generosity. Her legacy of love, faith, and resilience will forever remain in our hearts.

Prayers are going on daily in her home in Kalima. In Nairobi, a prayer meeting shall be held on Tuesday 22nd July 2025 at Nairobi Baptist church, Ngong Road, from 5.30 pm to 8.00 pm.

The burial will take place in her farm at Kalima Village, Emali Location, Makueni County, on Saturday 26th July 2025.

She was sister of the late Jackson Kinyua, the late Phelinanda Wanjeri Muriuki, the late Karera. Priscilla Wangui Kamaru, the late Lawrence Hiuhu and the late Muriuki. She was step sister of the late Joseph Gakuhi, the late Wanjeri, Shelmith Wambere Njeru, Elizabeth Wanjiru Muriithi, the late Samuel Githinji, the late Hiuhu and the late Njoki.

She was sister in-law of the late Gathigia Makunyi, the late Wainuku M’Kiara, the late Wanjiru and the late Flora Nyeri Gathenya.

She was mother in-law of Judy Naipanoi Thairu and Beatrice Wamaitha Matimu.

He was the in-law of the late Elizabeth and Thomas Mwangi and the late Gerald and Nancy Mwangi.

He was a cherished grandfather of Victor Wahome, Joyanne, Victor Mwangi, Roy, Clarence, Angel, Shekinah,Wesley and Anna. He was a loving uncle to many.

He was a beloved husband of Kasao Nkomea & Peninah Nkomea. Father of Peninah Kintet, Pst Meshack, Tom Sabaya, Edward Sokoine, Victor Tinga, Letia, Nosim, Costa Kilelu and Sereto.

Joseph was a loving husband of Florah Gikunda, and a devoted father of Martin Koome & Charity Kirigo, Kenneth Kiambi & Mary Wangari, Derrick Gitonga & Sarah Andati, George Mbwiria & Hellen Kirnathi, Edna Gakii & Eli Kiragu.

Grandfather of Manuela Neema Koome, Sifa Nazil Koome, David Karani Kiambi, Leo Lemayian Kiambi, Enzo Munene Gitonga, Jasmine Kendi Mbwiria, Alyssa Kanana Kiragu, Alison Wanjiru Kiragu and Andrew Kimani Kiragu.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

As we prepare to give him a dignified and honorable farewell, meetings and prayers will be held as follows: on Thursday at Edna Gakii’s home, Nairobi starting at 5:30 PM . and in Meru daily at the Family Home-Runogone.
