She was the daughter of the late John Ngiabi and the late Nancy Nyambora.

Devoted wife of Mr. Simeon Lekasi. Sister of Evanson Gichuhi, the late Stanley Chege, the late James Gichtri and Esther Muraya.

Sister in-law of the Florence Gichuhi, Phillys Chege, Charity Gichiri, the late James Muraya,The Loisa’s and The Katembo’s.

Loving mother of the late Dr. John Kennedy, Rosemary Koske, Nancy Nkini, Dr. Stephen Oseur, Patrick Shira, Grace Tito Kimani, Evanson Leshao.

Cherished mother-in-law of Lucy Kennedy, Noel Koske, Nelly Oseur, Dr. Redemptar Kimeu- Shira, William Kimani and Agnes Mbugua.

Adored grandmother (Nkokoo) of Janet Kennedy. A fundraising to assist defray funeral expenses will be held at Kericho home on Wednesday 9th July 2025 starting at 2.00PM.

A Funeral Service in her memory will be held on Wednesday 9th July 2025 at  Nairobi Central SDA Church starting at 9.00am.

Emmy will be taken back home to Kericho on Thursday, 10th July 2024 for an overnight stay to be followed by Funeral Service and Burial ceremony on Friday 11th July 2025.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billy Arnold Omondi which occurred on 24′ June 2025 at the Mater Hospital, Nairobi. At the time of his death, he was an employee of the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).

He was the son of the late George Onyango Olunya and late Hildah Atieno Oluoch. Guardianed by Jean Adhiambo Oluoch. He was a loving brother of Linda, Churchill, CarIcy & Peggy.

He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy that lives on in the many lives he touched.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on 8th July 2025, followed by a funeral service and burial at his rural home in Bondo Kapiyo, Siaya County on 9th July 2025.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the promotion to glory of Dr. Gathu Kirubi of Kenyatta University, Lecturer in the Faulty of Environmental Science. He was also a director of Sun Transfer, a solar equipment supplier and installer.

Dr. Gathu was the son of the late Joseph and the late Beatrice Kirubi of Mbari ya Mwati Village, Thimu Sub-location, Gathuitu Location, Gikondi Ward, Mukurwe-ini East Sub-County, Nyeri County.

He was beloved husband of Barbara Wambui of Equity Bank, loving father of Andrew Kirubi, Brandon Kirubi (Kianyaga Boys High School) and Mark Kaniaru (Ruaraka Academy).
