Daughter of the late Mzee Shadrack Onyango Ogwel and Mama Jenifer Sidha Onyango of Uholo West Location, Rambula South Sub-location, Sinan/Mudaho Village, Siaya County. Step-daughter of the late Mama Margaret Oyenga and Mama Joice Wayumb.

Mother of Rachel Achieng’ Odhiambo of St. Louis Missouri.

Beloved sister of the late Walter and Bonface. Also sister of Steve Ogwel (Unique Offers Consultants), Eng. Bernard Onyango (Min: of Water, Sanitation & Irrigation, State Dept. of irrigation & Drainage), Martin Onyango (Images Architects), Andrew Onyango (Min. of Interior & National Administration, Correctional Services, Rumuruti), Paul of North Carolina, Millicent Tutlam of St. Louis Missouri. Her other siblings were, Angeline Owino, Gilbert,the late James, Rose, Hilder, Syprose, the late Caroline & Rose Anyango.

Also sister-in-law of Eunice Juma,Dorothy Oduor, Rose Agwa, Florence Ogwel, Florence Owino, the late Lucy Otieno, Helida Otieno, Mary Ouma, Nial Tutlam.

She was aunty to many and mother to several orphans under her care.

Her body will arrive on 6/07/2025 from U.S.A. Her body will be preserved at Lee Funeral Home.

Henry Kesi was the son of the late Norman Kimega Kesi and the late Jessica Wanjala Kesi.

He was a devoted husband of Rebecca Mumbua Kesi, a cherished father of Jessica W. Kututa, and a loving father-in-law of Silvester M. Kututa. Henry was a proud grandfather of Nia Flicka, Taia Kututa, and Tei Shani, and a doting great-grandfather of Forest Rivers Kesi Kututa.

He was a beloved brother of the late Selina Makombo, the late Nicolas Mafundo, Libin Mwasi Kesi (Kinango), Zablon Mwakima Kesi (Taveta), Jeoffrey Mwakamu Kesi (Taita), and Oliver Mwachongo Kesi (Lunga Lunga).

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary, Mombasa, on Friday, 4th July 2025 at 10:00 AM, proceeding for a Requiem Mass at ACK Mwaluvanga, Shimba Hills, starting at 2:00 PM.

The Funeral and Burial Service will be held on Saturday, 5th July 2025, from 9:00 AM at his homestead in Mwanamkuu, Shimba Hills, Kwale County.

Born on 30th June 1965 at Kapkukto, Tembelio Ward, Uasin Gishu County, Major Kangogo was the beloved son of the late Kutto Kangogo Kiplele arap Mugonyin and Hanna Tarkok Kangogo of Kapkukto Village, Elgeyo Border Sub-Location, Tembelio Location, Uasin Gishu County.

He was also a cherished son-in-law of Mr. Kiplel Kipsambu Keshele and Mrs. Mary Tabarno Kiplel of Kaptagat Scheme.

We announce with profound sadness and immense gratitude to God the passing of our Matriarch Ruth Wambui Murungaru (Wamuriuki) on Tuesday June 24, 2025 after a long and eventful life.

She was the widow of the late David Murungaru Gakuru and daughter of the late Muriuki wa Mvvirikia and Muthoni mwari wa Muchoki.
