With humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the sudden demise of Major Evander Ochieng Amonde of The Kenya Airforce. Major Amonde’s Life was claimed by a grisly air crash in Ndavaya,Kinango, Kwale County as he conducted his routine trainings on Saturday, 14 June 2025.

He was a cherished husband of Rebecca Wangui (Becky) and a loving father of Kristie Oriana Rehma Amonde (Kora).

Son of Mr. Stephen Otieno Amonde, Mrs. Christine Apondi and Mrs. Beatrice Atieno.

Son-in-law of Mr. Daniel Ndung’u and Mrs. Mercy Ndung’u.

There will be a fundraiser on the 29th June 2025 at Jericho SDA Church grounds from 2pm. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday 2nd July 2025 at Assumption of Mary Catholic Church Umoja at 3pm.
