It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we inform you of the sudden demise of our beloved sister and mother in Sydney, Australia.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Geoffrey Kiiru Wanjohi and Susan Muthoni Kiiru.

Much loved mother of Ashley Wangari.

Sister of Mercy & Muriithi Wanjau, James Wanjohi and the late Kenneth & Wanjiru Kiiru.

Doting aunt of Hillary,Tumaini,Watiri,Wamuyu and Jason.

We kindly ask for your prayers, love and support during this difficult time as we come to terms with this loss. Her gentle spirit, strength, and unwavering love will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Meetings will be held at All Saints Cathedral from 23rd ,24th and 26th June 2025 from 5.30 p.m.

A Memorial Service will take place at All Saints Cathedral on Friday 27th June 2025 at 2:00 pm.

The Burial Service will be held on Monday, 30th June 2025, at Nturukuma Farm, Nanyuki, near Kenya Fibre at 10:30 a.m.

Julius Macharia Mwangi

We regret to announce the passing of Julius Macharia Mwangi, born in 1962 to the late Benson Mwangi andTabitha Wanjiku Mwangi of Kiria-ini Village, Kiru location, Mathioya sub-county, Murang’a County.

Beloved husband of Catherine Nyambura, and a devoted father of Margaret Wanjiru, Faith Wanjiku, Rose Wambui, Nelius Wanjeri, Susan Nyambura, and Benson Mwangi.

Cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren, brother of Hannah Nyambura, Esther Wairimu Githaiga, Lucy Wangari Maina, the late Rosemary Wachuka Mwangi, the late Stephen Maina Mwangi, and the late Nancy Wangechi Kariuki.

Julius began his career at Stainless Steel Ltd and later served in humanitarian work across Uganda, Tanzania, and South Sudan with Samaritan Purse, before returning to Kenya and working with Uber.

The cortege will leave Montenzuma Monalisa Funeral Home Kabati on Thursday 26.06.2025 at 8.00am for burial service at his home in Kiria-lni Village, Muranga County where he will be interred.

David Kinyanjui Muhindi

Sunrise: 1St January 1954 – Sunset: 20th June 2025 

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of David Kinyanjui Muhindi, who passed peacefully on 20th June 2025 in Nakuru after a long illness.

David was the cherished son of the late Patrick Muhindi Kiguru and the late Ruth Wambui Muhindi of Kaha-ini, Kandara.

He was a devoted husband of Caroline Wanjiru Kinyanjui and a loving father of Ruth Wambui, Victor and Wambui Muhindi, Mary Joan Wangui and Catherine Wanjiku.

He was a doting grandfather of Kamau, Shish, Sheena, joy, Njeri, Martha and Nimu.

He was a brother, uncle, and grandfather of many within the wider Muhindi family of Kahai-ini and an in-law of the Gundi family of Ngorano, Mathira.

The cortege will depart from Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru, on Friday, 27th June 2025, at 8.30 a.m. and proceed to St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Umoja-Lanet, where the funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thereafter, the burial will take place at his home in Murunyu—Lanet, Nakuru.

Family and friends are gathering daily for prayers at the family home starting at 5:00p.m.

Zacharia Omangi Mungei

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Papa Zacharia Omangi Mungei which occurred on 12th June 2025.

He was the son of Mr. Gabriel Mungei and Mrs.Teresiah Moraa. Son in-law of the late Jenaro Anyega and the late Lucy Moraa.

Loving husband of Mama Sabina Nyakerario.

Brother of the late Augustine Aroni, the late Francis Ndege, William Geteri, the late Elizabeth Kemunto, Catherine Mwango, the late Jackson Kerore and the late Florence Mokeira.

He was a loving father of Hellen Nyanchama (Nakuru), John Aroni (Kitengela), Jonathan Omangi (Advocate, Nairobi), Rebecca Bonaneri (Veterinary), Jacob Nyamweya (Nakuru), Henry Rang’ondi (Embakassi), Josiah Keoye, Rose Kwamboka (Chebaun School), Mathias Onyingwa (Ngeria Prisons) and Norah Kerubo (Nakuru).

Father in-law of Gladys Kemunto, Elvine Moraa Perina Ahoya, Eunia Kerubo, Risper Kwamboka, Faith Kibet, Alloys Matoke, Stanley Mokoro, Hudson Saina and John Chem or. Mzee had thirty three (33) grandchildren and (6) great grandchildren.

The cortege will depart from Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary – Private Wing on Thur slay 26th June 2025 for Nyamira County and thereafter Kiluka farm in Eldoret for interment. Mzee be laid to rest on Friday 27th June 2025 at his home in Kiluka farm, Uasin Gishu County.

Elizabeth was a dedicated Education Consultant at Globesolute, passionate teacher at Eastleigh High School, and member of CITAM Music Ministry and SIFA Voices.

Cherished daughter of Meshack Okelo Alando (formerly of IBM, Kenya Airways) and Joyce Sylvia Owele Okelo (formerly of Kenya Railways).

Beloved sister of Michael,Aggie, Perry, Connie, Diana, Chris, George. James, and John.

Cherished husband of the late Beatrice Sekenet Njururi. Devoted father of the late Darlington Santaua, twins the late Eddie Sekento and West Mugo, Rosy Wachira, Samson Mureithi and Ann Wanjiru.

Brother to Molly,the late Grace, Jumbe, the late Ricky, the late David, the late Peter, the late Tonnie and the late Jaqueline.

Son in-law of the late Edward Barnoti Sekento and Hannah Wanjiru Sekento. Brother in-law of the late Naomi, Mary, George, William, Priscilla, Lorna, the late Joan, the late Jonathan, the late Sadat, the late James, Loise, the late Rodha, Janet, Samuel, Sirere, Ntari, Nadupoi and the late Tinina.

Njururi’s life was driven by his profound love for his motherland, Kenya and his unwavering commitment to the profession of Journalism.

Elder Mrs. Isabella Tirindi Mwara

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Elder Mrs Isabella Tirindi Mwara, who peacefully rested on June 15, 2025.

Isabella was the cherished daughter of the late M’Mwitari and Bilha, and a loving sister of Nchekei, Ngaku and Sylvia, the late Karani and Kaburu.

She was the wife of the late Oswald Mwara, and a caring mother of Kagendo, Mrs Catherine Karimi Micheni (formerly of the Ministry of Education), Kirimi, Gituma, and Bundi.

She was a beloved mother-in-law of Mbaka, Prof. Micheni Ntiba, Kagweni, Caroline, and Nelly.

A doting grandmother of Kawira, Kathomi, Njagi, Murithi, Mutembei, Mugambi, Muguna, Gaitugi, Ian, Innocent, Brenda, and Branice. She was also a proud great-grandmother of Gatwiri, Njoroge, and Amani.

Isabella lived a life anchored in faith, and her unwavering spirit was a beacon of strength and inspiration to all who knew her.

Family, friends, and the church community are meeting daily at her Mukuuni home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The funeral service will take place at P.C.E.A Mutaruni Church, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, followed by burial at Kathangarini village, Mukuuni Location, Chuka South Sub-County,Tharaka-Nithi County.

Peter Macharia Njoroge

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Peter Macharia Njoroge on 14th June 2025 through a tragic road accident.

Peter was the beloved son of Anthony Macharia and Lucy Njoroge, husband of Susan Wamuyu, and loving father of Anthony Njoroge.

He was a dear brother of Eliud Kimotho and James Kirugi.

Brother-in-law of Valentine Ngatha, John Kibe, and Ann Nyawira.

He was a cherished uncle of Chloe Muthoni and son-in-law of Lucy Kibe and Peter Waithaka.

He was a grandson of Peter Macharia, Esther Wanjiru, Muriuki, and the late Susan Kirnotho. Peter was a friend, cousin, nephew, and colleague to many.

The burial will take place on 23rd June 2025 Kabati, Muranga County.

Mama Julia Musanga Lukhalo

It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Julia Musanga Lukhalo on 31st May, 2025 at Mbale Teaching and Referral Hospital after a long ailment bravely borne.

She was the beloved wife of Lazarus Lukhalo Mutasya of Imakata Village. Mother of Zipporah Khatunyi, Nixon Tangale (Sammy), Madam Velma Dalitsu, Lilian lminza, Pst. Benson Mutasya, the late Davies Mutasya, and Eucabeth Mutasya.

Daughter of the late Ibrahim Andole and the late Ebby Khalamwa. Sister of Ruth Shivikhwa, the late Isaiah, the late josephat, Samuel Andole, Peninah, the late Debla, the late Pope Andole, and Susan Andole (USA).

Daughter-in-law of the late Athanas Mutasya and Lay Pastor Truphena Inlinza. In-law of Harun, Mark, the late Kenneth, Samuel, Beatrice, Conceptor, the late Fredrick, Hezron, Kevina, and Timothy. Beloved aunt, grandmother and great grandmother to many.

A Society Memorial Service will be held on 20th June 2025 followed by an interment on Saturday, 21st June, 2025 at 9:00 am at her home in Iremele, lmakata Village, Kakarnega County.

John Odoyo

It is with humble acceptance and God’s will that we announce the death of John Odoyo.

Son of the late Johnson Odero Onyimbo and the late Margaret Oketch Odero.

Loving husband of Elida Aoko Oguda and were blessed with five children namely; Brenda Atieno, Navy Akinyi, Evance Onyango, Jesca Achieng and Sensu Odiwuor.

He was brother of Abich Odero, Maurice Ochieng Onyimbo, the late Joshua Alai and the late Ariyo Odero.

He was nephew of the late Ochieng Adiang, the late Ochiel Adiang, the late Miganwa Adiang, Pedha Adiang and Onyimbo Onyimbo.

He will be laid to rest on 4th of July 2025 at his home in north east Kadem location of Nyatike Sub-county in Migori County.
