Brian Mwangura Masale

e regret to announce the untimely passing of Brian Mwangura Masale on 23 November, 2025 through a road accident in South Africa, where he was working.

He was the beloved son of Eliakim M. Masale and Mary Kaveza Masale. He was a brother of Mercy Kikuyu, Duncan Mwakio, Peninah Lusambili, Anthony Mwangura, Emily Mwachoni, Patience Waweru, Serah Talu, Wendy, Gertrude, Sarah and Elpinah Masale.

He was a beloved uncle, cousin, brother in-law, and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on Thursday, 11th December, 2025 to Mzwanenyi village, Mwatate for a night vigil. Prayers will be held before being laid to rest on Friday, 12th December, 2025.

Rest in peace till we meet again.We loved you, but God loved you more.

 

Mzee Kinyua Robertson Njogu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Kinyua Robertson Njogu of Ragati village, Gakawa Location, Nanyuki, Nyeri County.

Son of the late Njogu Ngari and the late Millicent Mwihaki.

Husband of Margaret Nyawira Kinyua. Father -of Penina Mwihaki, David Njogu, Peter Mwai, Mary Muthoni, Ann Wairimu, Lucy Njeri, Regina Wanjiku and Alice Wakonyu. Father-in-law of Absalom Kibe, the late Jane Wangari, the late Carol Muthoni, Joseph Mwangi and Maj. Gen Jeffrey Nyagah (KDF).

Brother of Mrs Faith Wairimu, the late Mary Wanjiku, Jane Wangui, the late Peter Kabugi, Peter Muchina, the late Charles Ngari, and John Muriuki.

Son-in-law of the late Peter Mwai Mukinyu and the late Beatrice Ngima Mwai. He is an uncle a grandfather and a great grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ragati Gakawa Nanyuki from 3.00 pm and at Exit II along Kamakis bypass from 5.30 pm.

There will be Requiem Mass at his home Ragati Village, Gakawa Location, Nanyuki on Friday 12/12/202.5 starting at 3.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 13/12/2025 at 8 00 am and thereafter followed by a funeral mass and final interment at his home Ragati Village, Gakawa Location, Nanyuki starting at 11.00 am.

Alice Jebitok Busienei-Bitok

It its with deep sorrow and in acceptance of God’s sovereign will that we announce the painful and untimely passing of Alice Jebitok Businei-Bitok, of Kenya Seed Company Limited.

She was the beloved spouse of Nicholas Bitok and the loving mother of Lavine Chepkirui and Nesta Kiplagat. Alice passed away at Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi, on 4th December 2025, following a series of health challenges

She was the cherished daughter of the late Mr. Benjamin Busienei and Mama Rosaline Busienei (Kapmasit Kapswara) of Kakiptui Village, and daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Jacob Kibitok Keino & the late Felister Keino of Laboret, Kipkaren Ward in Mosop Constituency, Nandi County.

Alice shared a close bond with her siblings- Kenneth, Racheal, Evans, Meshack. Eliud, Nelson,Wesley,Timon. Isaac (Sr), Edwin, Silas, and Jones.

She was an in-law of Ruth, Florenee,Winnie, Catherine, Salina. Mac:reef), Merry, Leonida, and Caren. Alice was also a sister-in-law of Clement Magut, the late David, Augustine, Monica, Athanas, Raymond, Gilbert, James, Festus, Abraham, Emmanuel and Tatteus, as well as of Sally Samoei. Evelyne Magut. Felistus. Jane Book. Ruth, Rederm.t. and Grace.

She was a cherished niece of Kapsuter Chepkiyeng of Rorok. Village, Kapsowat in Elgeyo Marakwet County, of the late Jackson & the late Betsy, Luka & the late Elizeba, Charles & Ann, the late Reuben(RJ) & Grace, Samwel & Rebec( a. Paulo & Betty, Hon D Sudi & Eunice, the late Wilson & Eveline, Richard & Hannah, John & Marylyn, Mama Joyce, Esther, Nelly, and Grace. Alice was a cousin and aunt to many and had numerous adoring friends who cherished her deeply.

The body will leave Eldoret Hospital Funeral Home on 15/1212025 far- night vigil at home in Laboret.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Tuesday, 16/12/2025. at their home in Laboret, Salient, Mosop Constituency, Nandi County.

Mother in-law of Dorcas Wanjiru, Mary Wangeci, Ellena Njeri, Nancy Wawira, Joyce Wambui, Eunice Wanjugu (Kagumo TTC), Virginia Muthira, Samuel Thiga, Esther Wangari (Munyaka sec. Nyahururu) and Lucy Waithira (Nakuru).

Sister of Nyambura Maina, Njaria Maina, Ngugi Maina and Njuguna Maina (all late). Grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother to many.

The cortege will leave Montenzuma Monalisa Funeral Home Kabati at 9.00am for burial service on 16th December 2025 at A.C.K St Peters Nguruini and later interment at her home adjacent to the church.

Meetings and prayers are being held daily at Dekeei Hotel Murang’a and her home Nguruini village starting from 6.00pm.

Mr Julius Ngure Gikandi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mr. Julius Ngure Gikandi.

He was the son of the late Moses Gikandi and the late Beatrice Waitiati. Brother of Kibuchi, Githae, Kinyua,Wamuyu, the late Karoki, Gathoni, Kamur0 and Wanjiku. He hails from KanjuriVillage Gatei Mathira.

He was married to Esther Wangui and Agnes Nthama. Father of Gerald Gikandi, Mercy Wakini, Kennedy Kibaru, Jacqueline Gathigia, Benson Kinyua and Karen Kendi. He leaves behind eight grandchildren.

Friends and family are meeting every evening from 4.00 pm at his home lgwamiti.

The cortege leaves St Benedict Hospital Nyahururu for burial at his farm Igwarniti Village Nyahururu on Saturday 13th December 2025 at 10.00 am.

Philip Kipchirchir Tuimur (AIG)

9/01/1966 – 6/12/2025

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Philip Kipchirchir Tuimur (AIG). who went to be with the Lord on 6th December 2025 at his home in Kapsabet, Nandi County.

He was the son of the late Edwin and Emily Tuimur.

Philip was a devoted husband of Dr. Hilda Chepchumba Tuimur (University of Kabianga) and a loving father of Ian Tuimur (Kenya Airways), Everlyne Tuimur (USA), Sharon Tuimur (USA) and grandfather of Matteo Kibet Tuimur Canzoneri.

Brother of Dr. Andrew Tuimur, Leah Tuimur, the late Hellen Tuimur, Dr. Richard Tuimur and Mark Tuimur,

Brother in law of Christine Tuimur and Caroline Tuimur.

He will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and especially his dedicated service in the Kenya Police Service, where he worked with honour and commitment.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday 13th December 2025 at Kapsabet High School grounds from 9.00am and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home in Kabutiei village, Kapsabet, Nandi County.

Daughter of the late Bedan Kihara and the late Faith Wangui of Gatondo Village, Karatina, Nyeri County.

Wife of the late Joseph Ndirangu of Nyeri County. Beloved mother of the late Lucy Wangui. Mike and Cathrine Ndirangu of Nairobi, Ben and Katie Ndirangu of USA and Angela arid Patrick Maina of USA. Grandmother of Wanjiru, Amos, Andrew, Alex, Ndirangu, Michuki, Kaylah, Maureen and Georgie. Great grandmother of Azriel and Benaiah.

Sister of Pity Kamau, Rosemary Kihara, the late Hellen Mbugi, the late Gerald Muita, the late Samuel Muchori and the late VVanderi Kihara. Aunt and friend to many.

Daily prayer meetings are being held at her residence in Madaraka Estate Nairobi from 5:00pn-m.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, 14th December 2025 from 2.00pm at PCEA Nairobi West Church.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Way, on Tuesday 16th December, 2025 at 8.00am and proceed to PCEA Nairobi West Church followed by burial at the Langata Cemetery.

Vallen Kerubo Omari

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the passing of Vallen Kerubo Omari, who was an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Legal Manager at lzwe Kenya. Vallen was the daughter of the late Jackson Omari and Florence Bochaberi Omari.

She was a loving sister of Richmond Bosire, Belva Moraa; and Lynne Omari.

She was the sister in-law of Mercy Stephanie, a loving aunt of Phylan Omari and Zeyna Omari, and a treasured granddaughter of the late Isaac Nyantika and Norah Nyanchera, as well as the late Philip Mabeya and Anastasia Mabeya.

Vallen was also the beloved fiancée of Rufus Kanyuira, with whom she built a life filled with love, partnership, and mutual support.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and arrangements in Nairobi at All Saints Cathedral.

The funeral cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Thursday, 11th December at 2:00 P.M. for a night vigil at the family home in Ruai. The burial has been scheduled for Friday, 12th December 2025, at Muhuri Muchiri Stadium, Ruai, at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at the family home in Ruai.
