It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Peter Kiprotich Langat,of Cheptagum and Kebeneti (Lilloch), Kericho County that occurred on 4th December 2025 at the Tenwek Hospital.

He was the first-born son of Taita Chebochok Langat and Madam Jane Langat and husband of Dorothy Chirchir.

Lovihg father of Beryl Chelangat, Given Sambu, Hadassah Cherop and Isla Cheruto.

He was the brother of Kibet C., Moses, Beatrice, Irene, Tracey and Carlene. Uncle, cousin and nephew to many.

The cortege leaves Tenwek on 11th December 2025 for a church service at IAGC Sotik.

The funeral will be held on Friday 12th December 2025 at Cheptagum Primary School, Tebesonik, Kericho County.

Mzee Benson Ntabo Moracha (Jitegemee)

1926 – 2025

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Patriarch Benson Ntabo Moracha.

He is the son of the late Moracha Manga and the late Martha Moraa of itibo village, Chitago.

Cherished father of the late Wilson, Nicholas, Aminga, Daniel, Esther Kerubo, the late Grace Mong’ina, James, Dr Omosa (USA), Martha (USA), Radion, Kwamboka, Alice, Zipporah, Gladys, John Mark, Simon, Rose (USA) and Kevin (USA).

He was the brother of the late Oyugi and Naftali.

He was the son in law of the late Oguku Miyogo, Jemimah Nyaboke, Miyogo and Birindu.

He was the grandfather of Mogere, Ogendi, Amos, Anita Denno, Muma, Bismack, Doiphine, Doris, Gloria, Brian, Lewis, Nesta,Trevor (USA), Gustavo. He was a great grandfather to many.

The burial will take place at his home in Itibo, Chitago Village. The cortege will depart from Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital on Thursday, 11th December 2025. Prayers and burial service will he held on Friday, 12th December at his home in Itibo, Chitago Village, Nyamagesa location, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.

Francis Kioko

He was the son of the late Paul Muindi Kisongoa and late Mary Ngusye Muindi.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Louis Sore Bahati, which occurred on 27th November 2025 through a tragic road accident. The body is preserved at Umash funeral Home, Nairobi.

Louis was the son of Eng. Stephen Bahati Musindayi and Ursula Sore Bahati. He was brother of Winnie Muteitsi Bahati (UK) and the late Lisa Bahati. He was also brother of Shamim, Harridan, Nevyn and Milan Bahati.

He was a grandchild of the late Juliana and Adrian Musindayi and the late juliet2, and Clement Sore. He was nephew of the late Julius lsohe, Regina lbasha, Dyphina Mwaitsi, the late Alfred Chiteyi, Agnes Mboone, Patrick Lubembe, Adelaide Khatonde. Dr. Inviolata Lunani, Norbert Kwasira, Beatrice Sore, Mildred Akvveyu, Conrade Ingosi, the late Fr. Remaly Sore, Stanley, Millicent Kweyu, Cyril and Euphemia Sore.

Funeral arrangements meetings are being held daily at their homes in Golden Gate Estate, Sore Lane South B daily from 6.00 pm and in Kakamega.

The main meeting at their home in South B will be held on Wednesday 10th December 2025 from 6.00pm.

A requiem mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, South B at 2.00pm.

The funeral service will be held at Mwiyala Primary School in Lurambi area Of Kakamega County on Saturday, 13th December 2025 from 9.00 am and thereafter burial at his parents’ home.

Mama Anna Aloo Wamulla (Nyar Sega)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mama Anna Aloo Wamulla (Nyar Sega).

Daughter of Camlus Oteng’o and Dorntilah Nyadundo of Sega. Step-daughter of Veronica Oriaro, Leonorah Adhiambo and Veronica Oketch.

Anna was the wife of the late Gracius Wamulla Oweggi, and a cherished mother of Jacinta Odude, Robert Obare. Pauline Osanya, Hellen Ongara, Peter Otieno and Grace Bayoh. Step-mother of Lucy Okoda, Sr. Seraphine Oweggi and Patricia Otieno.

She was a beloved mother-in-law of Patrice Odude, Rose Kerubo, Alex Osanya, Apollo Ongara, Elizabeth Sangira, Lamin Bayoh, Jane Oweggi, Hadija Oweggi and Elias Otieno.

Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Calvin, Jerry, Wesley, the late Stephen, Deo Gracious, Vanessa, Vallery, Melissa, Melvin, Michelle, Adrian, Annette, Kayleen, Audrey, Bhakita, Jakah, Nadia„Omar and the Oweggi’s. Great grandmother of Ashley, Noa and Azien.

Sister of Margaret Apiyo Owino, Julius Omija, Pius Odhian-ibo, Veronica Alego, Marcus Owino, Anna Oloo, Nobert Ouma, Rose Abanga and PaUline Adidi all who are deceased, Survived by Sr. Ignatius Ogada, Patricia Sawa Olotch, Michael Apoda, Mary Anyango, Mary Goreti, Vitalis Ogolla and Jane Oteng’o.

Anna leaves behind a family strengthened by her teachings and who are grateful for the years they were blessed to share with her.

Bishop Joseph K. Ngetich

Date of Birth: 18th July 1956 — Death: 5th December 2025

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our family patriarch, Joseph K. Ngetich, which occurred on 5th December 2025 after a long illness bravely borne.

Joseph was the beloved son of the late Hannigtone Nyoro and the late Rusi Nyoro and son-in-law of the late Daudi Lasoi and the late Naumi Lasoi.

He was the loving and devoted husband of Jane Ngetich and a cherished father of Vienna, Michael, Christopher, Christine, Maureen and Violet. He was a doting grandfather of Israel, Imam, Gabriella, Naomi, Neema, Baraka, Zuri and George.

Brother of Grace & the late Michael Chumo, the late Jonathan & Regina Ngetich, Elizabeth & Joseph Kibowen, the late Rose & Eng. Aphaxard Maiyo, Alfred & Jusuna Ngetich Geoffrey & the late Betty Ngetich and Joyce & Isaiah Mutai.

Brother-in-law of Ruth & the late Edward Chumo, the late Lucio & Samwel Sang, Alice & Philip Rotich., Zeddy & the late Jonestone Cherorot, Racheal & the late Prof. Jonathan Ngeno, the late Mary & late Wilson Chemarer, Elizabeth & Solomon Kelong, Esther & John Ngeno, Benjamin & Joyce Tanui, Henry & Margaret Tanui, Tecla & Charles Langat, among others.

Joseph was a loving in-law of Dr Gitau Njoroge & Dr Florence Gttau. He was a loving uncle mentor and friend to many.

The Memorial service will be held on Friday, 12th December 2025. at Kabartegan High School grounds and the interment to follow at his home in Ngoina Road, Kabartegan, Kericho County

Winfred Wanjiku Kamochu

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Winfred Wanjiku Kamochu of the Office of the President, Ministry of Interior and National Administration, who went to be with the Lord on 3rd December, 2025 after a long illness. She was stationed at the Regional Commissioner’s Office, Central Region as the PA/RC.

She is a beloved wife of John Kagwi Nyoike, mother of Edward Nyoike Kagwi and Elsianna Wangui Kag-wi.

She was the daughter of the late David Karnochu and the late Hannah Wairime of Kiambu, Daughter-in-law of the late Edward Nyoike and the late Alice Wangui.

Sister of Susan Wanjiku. Tabitha Wanjiru, Kenneth Kinyanjui, Hottensiah Nduta and Catherine Njeri.

Sister-in-law of the late Anthony Muturi, Florence Wanjiru, Eric Gacuhi, Dorcas Waithira and Susan Wanjiku.

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, wisdom and love for her family, colleagues and friends. Her legacy of kindness and integrity lives on in all who knew her

Family and friends are meeting at the Nyoike family home in Langata Karen for burial Family arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital (Private Wing) at 7.00 a.m. on Wednesday, 10th December 2025 for mass at the Shrine of Sacred Heart of Jesus off Langata ,road, past Galleria Mall opposite CITAM, Karen. Thereafter Winfred will laid to rest at the Nyoike’s residence.

 

Mr Francis Ndung’u Njoroge

We announce with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will the passing of Mr Francis Ndung’u Njoroge, retired Headteacher, AEO, Gatundu, Lari and Limuru, DBEOKiambu, Staffing Officer Kiambu, which occurred on 4th December 2025 at Nairobi West Hospital.

He was the son of the late Njoroge Kibuba and the late Caroline Wanjiku.

Husband of the late Rachel Wambui of Dam Iri and Winnie Wanjiku Ndung’u, retired Headteacher Limuru Model Primary and Qaso Kikuyu Sub County.

He was a brother of the late Ngigi Kibuba, Simon Gitimu, James Gachunga, Senior Chief John Muya and Pastor Mary Wambui Karanja of Karura.

He was a father of Edward Ndung’u, Headteacher St John’s Kaloleni, Caroline Ndung’u, Deputy Principal Munyu Secondary School, Antony Ndung’u, Deputy Headteacher Bibirioni Primary and Serah Ndung’u, Business Woman Kwa Mbira, Arthur Nyanjui, Edulink International College Nairobi and Isaac Njoroge Ndung’u.

The c9rtege will leave Uphome Funeral Home, Uplands on Thursday December 11th, 2025 at 8.00 am for a funeral service at 10430 am in Ruku Village, along Wangige – Ngecha Road.

Family and friends are -meeting daily at his home in Kamirithu Village, from 4.00 pm.

Margaret Wanjiru Ndung’u

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Margaret Wanjiru Ndung’u on 5th December 2025 in the UK.

She was the beloved daughter of Peter Ndung’u Kamanu and the late Jane Wanjiku Ndung’u.

Darling mother of Louis, Rodney and Shirley.

Loving sister of Njoki and Kamoni (USA), Jacinta, Nancy and Eliud (USA), Sue (Susan) and Kyende, Lilian and Paul, Carol and Dan, Josephine (Koi) and Mercy. She was a cousin to many. Niece to many uncles and aunties who adored her.

Daily meetings are on going in everyday starting 5.00pm at their family residence in Gigiri.

Celebration of her life mass will be held at the same residence in Gigiri on 11th Thursday December 2025 at 12noon.
