He was the first-born son of Taita Chebochok Langat and Madam Jane Langat and husband of Dorothy Chirchir.

Lovihg father of Beryl Chelangat, Given Sambu, Hadassah Cherop and Isla Cheruto.

He was the brother of Kibet C., Moses, Beatrice, Irene, Tracey and Carlene. Uncle, cousin and nephew to many.

The cortege leaves Tenwek on 11th December 2025 for a church service at IAGC Sotik.

The funeral will be held on Friday 12th December 2025 at Cheptagum Primary School, Tebesonik, Kericho County.

The burial will take place at his home in Itibo, Chitago Village. The cortege will depart from Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital on Thursday, 11th December 2025. Prayers and burial service will he held on Friday, 12th December at his home in Itibo, Chitago Village, Nyamagesa location, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.

Anna was the wife of the late Gracius Wamulla Oweggi, and a cherished mother of Jacinta Odude, Robert Obare. Pauline Osanya, Hellen Ongara, Peter Otieno and Grace Bayoh. Step-mother of Lucy Okoda, Sr. Seraphine Oweggi and Patricia Otieno.

She was a beloved mother-in-law of Patrice Odude, Rose Kerubo, Alex Osanya, Apollo Ongara, Elizabeth Sangira, Lamin Bayoh, Jane Oweggi, Hadija Oweggi and Elias Otieno.

Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Calvin, Jerry, Wesley, the late Stephen, Deo Gracious, Vanessa, Vallery, Melissa, Melvin, Michelle, Adrian, Annette, Kayleen, Audrey, Bhakita, Jakah, Nadia„Omar and the Oweggi’s. Great grandmother of Ashley, Noa and Azien.

She is a beloved wife of John Kagwi Nyoike, mother of Edward Nyoike Kagwi and Elsianna Wangui Kag-wi.

She was the daughter of the late David Karnochu and the late Hannah Wairime of Kiambu, Daughter-in-law of the late Edward Nyoike and the late Alice Wangui.

Sister of Susan Wanjiku. Tabitha Wanjiru, Kenneth Kinyanjui, Hottensiah Nduta and Catherine Njeri.
