Husband of the late Mary Wangui Ndungu. Father of Magdaline Wakarima Karuiru, the late Wanjiru Gachindu, Murugi Karinga,Wachira Ndungu, Kariuki Ndungu, Kingori Ndungu Ndirangu Ndungu, Wamuyu Kimani, Nyangendo Mwangi and Wanjiku Kamau. Brother of the late B. Kingori and the late Gichuri Mbogo, Murugi Kahiro and Teresa Nyangendo Mbogo.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Baguret Wakariru-Narumoru Nyeri County from 4:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Consolata mortuary on Saturday 15th July 2017 at 7:00 a.m. for funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at his home followed by burial thereafter.

Brother of Peter Ngugi (USA), Mary Muikamba (USA), Grace Wairimu, Kenneth Njenga (Escapement), Michael Ngugi (Kamndeiya Stores Rukuma), Hannah Wambui, Charles Gitau (USA), Eunice Wairimu (Nyayo Market), Rose Muikamba, Naomi Wambui, Ann Wanjiru, Peninah Wanjuhi (Naivasha), Donald Mwaura (USA), Margaret Nduta, Harrison Gitau (Tanzania).

Son of the late Josephat Mwithiga King’ang’i & the late Agnes Njeri. Loving husband of the late Pauline Wanjiru Kingang’i. Brother of the late Amos, the late Martha, the late Njoroge,Waithaka, the late Mukuha,Watiri, Nduta, Kamau, the late Kuria, the late Wanjiru and Wambui. Father of Josephine Kingang’i (Post Bank), Jane Irungu (Principal-Kenyatta H.Sch.), the late Peter Mwithiga (USA), Anne Wangui, Mercy Kingang’i, Elijah Kimani, Alex Kingangi Lucy King’ang’i, Maina Kingang’i and Elizabeth Kingang’i. Father-in-law of Hon. Speaker Gathii Irungu (Kiambu County), Irene Mwithiga-USA, Jackie Gaithuma-Kimani (IBM East Africa), Peninah Maina and Steve Kamau. Loving grandfather and uncle of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at the family home in Pwani- Nakuru, Blue Springs Hotel-Thika Road and Cardinal Otunga Annex, Holy Family Basilica, 7th Floor, St. John Paul room, at 5.30 pm(Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday). The cortege shall be transferred from Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday, 14th July 2017 to War Memorial mortuary Nakuru, then leave on 15th July 2017 for a funeral mass and burial at the home in Pwani, Njoro- Nakuru.

The firstborn in her family and a sister to Richard, the late Moses, Enos, the late George, John, James, Margaret, Jane, the late Sylvia and Sophie. Wife to Phanuel Adega Otieno, Mother to Maureen (UK), Millicent (On Happy Africa), Nicholas (Unilever), Peter (United Millers), Rev.Ambrose Adega (Provost, Banda ACK Diocese), Seline (France), Agneta (DCPS) John (SCRH) and Nancy (Inerela). Mother-in-law to Millicent, Beatrice, Jeddy (Ajigo school) John (UK) Charles (On Happy Africa) Mikael (France) and late Bernard. Sister-in-law of the late Robert, the late Apollo, Jedida, Jessica, Grace, the late Jeniffer and the late Consolata. The cortege leaves Avenue Hospital Kisumu at I Iam for a requiem mass to be held at St. Stephens Church Majango on Friday 14th July 2017 at noon. Loving wife of Daniel Wangenye Kuria of Silver Refrigeration, Githurai. She was the mother of Justus Kuria, Sarah Wangechi and Samson Mwangi. Sister of Jane Wangechi, Nancy Waiyego, Njuguna Gitimu, Maina Gitimu, the late Rose Wanjiru, Grace Wairimu, Beth Njeri, Catherine Wambui of UK and Martin Muthoga. She was an aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Timboroa Hotel, Nairobi from 6.00pm and at Wakanjara Bar & Restaurant, Kangema.
